software sales up big time. boosted mostly with Halo 3 sales, though other sales are increased due to early holiday shoppers. Wii sales up due to increase in supply to ramp up for the holiday season and to help counter Halo 3 sales. sales spurned by solid sales of brain age 2 and Phantom Hourglass, not to mention a separate SKU for the crimson/black color, bring the DS back to the top. 360 system sales also spurned by insane Halo sales and the prospect of the limited Halo edition 360 increase 360 sales significantly, but not enough to catch DS and Wii pre-holiday season sales.
in specific software sales, Metroid sees a very good month due to positive impressions and Wii consumer curiosity (expanded audience). 360 Madden and Bioshock sales see sharp drop during run-up to the launch of Halo 3, perhaps even further than i'm predicting. Phantom hourglass gets excellent numbers for the short time it's time on the list for the same reason as Metroid's successes. Brain Age 2 sees a larger resurgence for early holiday shoppers.
thats my story and i'm sticking to it.
