Really, don't bother downloading the demo. It ain't that good, and BF shits all over it.
There is soooo much awesome shit that happens during a race that you can easily miss and not even see. Catching a glimpse in the corner of your eye of a truck busting apart (in flames!) as it rams into another is pure bliss. Motorstorm is freakin' incredible.Y2Kevbug11 said:SHIT!!!
Someone just drove past me in motorstorm ON FIRE and then kaput'd off to the side of the track. :lol
I LOVE THIS GAME
edit: I LOVE FLYING OFF THE CLIFFS. There is some sweet comedy in diving fullspeed off cliffs right past "SLOW" signs.

I've had the system on for about an hour and it already seems pretty toasty on the right side of the console (especially below the vents). In fact I'd say it's downright hot to the touch (not painfully so, but hotter than I expected)... you guys having the same experience or should I be concerned?
I had the same issue earlier -- I literally rewired my entire setup two or three times, even going so far as to put my PS3 and TV on seperate outlets in the event of interference. Each time I thought the problem had been solved, but I'd boot up the PS3 and I'd see the lines for just a moment. They'd fade in and out, sometimes severe, sometimes not.Baron Aloha said:I picked up my system and started watching Talladega Nights just to see how the Bluray player was. About 10 minutes into it I started noticing dark horizontal bands moving up the screen....kind of like when you see a TV running in the background on TV but not as bad. I tried Resistance, Genji, and Ridge and it did it there too. Its really noticable in those games and annoying as hell. I also tried composite, component, and hdmi inputs and multiple TVs. Something is obviously wrong with the video output. Of course, EB doesn't have a replacement. I'm just going to get a refund tomorrow and have them order a 60gb for me for the next shipment rather than use my replacement plan. This sucks.![]()

Then I cut my system selector out of the equation and hooked up my PS3 directly to the TV via component. No bands. It ended up being my crappy cheap system selector, but buying another one isn't feasible right now, nor is manually digging around the rear of my set whenever I want to plug another system in. My solution? I kid you not, I wrapped my damn system selector almost entirely in aluminum foil, even going so far as to lift it and place the foil underneath. I haven't had a band since.
Bebpo said:Oh and I've got to agree on the Resistance AI (where's Chespace when you need him?). It's really really good. It's not the Halo kind of smart where enemies work together as teams and flank you (no game have matched up to Halo 1/2 in AI), but it's one of the best non-Halo AIs because the enemies are BRUTAL and HARD. They hide behind stuff, they pop out quickly and take pot shots, when you hide they take the side and try to sneak up on you, etc...battles are REALLY TOUGH but intense. Very good AI job by Insomniac.

Is the air coming out the back of the PS3 supposed to be so hot?
It needs to operate just like any other Web Browser when the system detects a keyboard.mckmas8808 said:It's very very easy for me. Just as easy as typing into this message box here imo.

It's only 435 MB and my 360 gets download rates triple that with GB files...
Anyways, can anyone help? Or may it just be my wifi(but it is 60% signal strength)?(I use wired 360 btw)

Something like Minna Issho that is a Japanese GAME with tons of text I can understand but ummm...a costume? WTF x 10.

You could compare heh...

That was the first use I thought of, to be honest. LET'S COMPARE GAMES...but I don't have any multiplatform.

drohne said:resistance is damned good stuff! it's cool to play something so high-speed after gears. feels like you're in fast-forward; you half expect the voices to be squeaky. the feel of the firefights is pretty unique -- i'm not seeing why reviews have called it derivative. it controls better on a pad than any other fps i've played -- dunno if it's the additional precision of the sixaxis, the way insomniac have coded things, or some combination of the two. it's a world of difference from dual shock, in any case. i just wish the levels weren't broken into such brief segments. just as you build some momentum you're interrupted by one of those dull expository cutscenes.
