Whoo! Good win guys!

Hey, Peyton put 'er there! We really need to bury the hatchet.

brady-manning.jpg

Come over here. I want to give you something... away from these cameras.

p1_brady.jpg

Come closer...

Take off the helmet...

5u0io3.jpg

Come on, don't be that way. Take it off...

jgsh9v.jpg

Hey, Brady! Get your ass in gear! You've got a shitload of sweaters to rip!

wqskyv.jpg

But coach he won't take off the helmet!

Anyway, I've got a confession to make... hey, where did he go...?

nzk10j.jpg

And then we can go around Hawaii solving mysteries like on that show Hawaii five-0?!

Bill-Belichick.jpg

Uh...yeah, sure thing, kid...

tom-brady-patriots.jpg

I'll get him next year, dad!

Thursday game this week!
CHI @ SF - Coin flip said so.

Sunday
DET @ MIN - Buh?
ATL @ CAR - Actually a tougher call than it seems. CAR is running with authority.
DEN @ WAS - Unfortunately, Denver starts playing shitty teams again...
CIN @ PIT - I'm rooting for the opposite, but I don't trust Cinci yet.
TB @ MIA - Josh Freeman era ends after one game. Please? Oh man, I don't need this. Shut up, DM!
JAC @ NYJ - I'd forgotten NY even existed, so I'll give them the nod as an apology.
NO @ STL - zuh?
BUF @ TEN - Buffalo won't be able to stop the run.
KC @ OAK - CHAZ SCHILENS MOTHERFUCKERS. THE EARTH WILL TREMBLE! **
DAL @ GB - GB lost to Tampa. Fuck them forever.
SEA @ ARI - guh?
PHI @ SD - Please? Come on, Philly, you owe me!
NE @ IND - It's a tough call simply because Indy has no defense. Looks like a barn burner on paper, but then again the teams know each other so well...

Monday
BAL @ CLE - muh.

**When JRuss' fat ass falls after a sack.

This week, the Bengals beat the Steelers, yet somehow remain AFC North's 3rd best team.
Bengals could win the Super Bowl and somehow they'd still be worse than the Ravens who they've owned since Carson Palmer got the starting job.

CHI @ SF - Easy win for the Bears, I'm afraid.

DET @ MIN
ATL @ CAR - I hope I'm wrong but the Panthers looked pretty good against the Saints.
DEN @ WAS - Potential upset. Not sure yet.
CIN @ PIT
TB @ MIA
JAC @ NYJ
NO @ STL
BUF @ TEN
KC @ OAK
DAL @ GB - For once, I actually want Green Bay to win a game.
SEA @ ARI - Even though it's a home game.
PHI @ SD
NE @ IND - Indy is the worst 8-0 team, I've ever seen.

BAL @ CLE

Even though I'm in this Football-less, subsequently God-less country, I can still pick em with the best.

CHI @ SF

DET @ MIN
ATL @ CAR
DEN @ WAS
CIN @ PIT - 日曜日にBENGALSの美しい勝ちを期待しなさい!
TB @ MIA - Kind of a dumb pick. Too late to unbold now.
JAC @ NYJ
NO @ STL - That would be a fucking shocker if NO lost here. Although, they don't look unbeatable.
BUF @ TEN - Vince Young hall of fame career continues.
KC @ OAK - I'm picking like someone who has nothing to lose.
DAL @ GB
SEA @ ARI
PHI @ SD - It's November, chall know what that means.
NE @ IND - I hate Brady, and it's because he's greater than me in every measure of a man.

BAL @ CLE - the second best team in the AFC North, right guyz?

:lol @ OP

I fully expect NE to summon their darkest tactics from the deepest pits of hell and beat the Colts. Moss should have about 250 rec yds and roughly 8 TDs when it's all said and done, as our secondary is a disaster right now. That said, it will still be a fairly close game.

best pick ever! For anyone wanting to pick the packers remember Dallas has smacked them down the last two seasons.

That was certainly an interesting first post.

Anyway, win for SD and loss for Denver and I'll be a happy bunny.

Last week: 9-4, Season total: 90-39.

CHI @ SF Niners you better win, every fucking year I pick you to win 9 games and you screw me.

Man, this would have fit perfectly in the OP:

Colts have a good run defense. But that probably won't mean much for Brady + young secondary.

what a week for Portis to be out

In my alternate reality the Skins are 7-1, and Portis rushes for 6 TDs and 301 yards, breaking the single game record. He brings out the WWF belt as the clock runs out.

You should see it. It's really a nice place over here.

Bellicheat's tricks no longer work on Peyton. Manning is going to end the great New England fantasy once and for all and there will be much rejoicing throughout the land.

Also the Steelers will break the hearts of Bengal fan once again. It will be a tough game though but Hair Polamalu owns Palmer and Ben owns the entire state of Ohio so I see the Steelers finding a way to win in the fourth quarter as they always do.

It'd actually benefit the Steelers to have New England win, but then again, I'm not sure if I want the #1 seed. Never seems to work out for us.

And the phantom neutral zone penalty on Barwin that wasn't called until Manning's pass hit the ground on 3rd down :lol

And Freeney being held on most snaps, etc., etc.

Game's over, your team made mistakes. Funny that your coaches aren't whining about being cheated by penalties.

I'm not whining about penalties, I was during the game because the game was not called fairly.

However, this call was called correctly on the field and then incorrectly overturned. It was a HUGE call during the game.

And even despite that and all the penalties and 3 turnovers they still should have won that game.

Most coaches are never going to whine about penalties, they are going to blame themselves and their players.
However, the coaches have submitted a report to the league about the play in question.

Bellicheat is shameless. They run those pick routes and umpire screen routes about 90% of the time with Welker. Safety be damned, winning is all that matters!

None of the video that the refs could see showed that Bethea had touched it or that it had touched him. How can you blame them for something that no one could see? It wasn't even on anyone's minds that Bethea could have touched it.

And while Texans fans can say they should have won this, Colts fans can say this should have been a blowout win. But it wasn't. Chill, we play in a couple weeks.

man that game was a bummer

this is absolutely true. they could have been up 21-0 at the half.

Colts should have blown Texans out, which has to make Indy fans worried. This week they play a big boy grownup team who will feast on their beat up secondary in ways the Texans simply aren't able to.

Could get really ugly for Colts, though I always hope they win when they play Pats.

It's a weird disconnect with Houston right now. Nationally, Peter King, Simmons, Lombardi, and Tony Dungy all say that the Texans choking at the end of games is indicative of a weak team of losers.

Locally, most columnists and radio guys seem to be saying all is well and that they can still make playoffs.

Could have, but the Texans defense shut them down once they got to the redzone. Then they expanded to the second half and only gave up one TD. And thats despite all the penalties the colts got. They aren't getting any credit from this game.

The Texans weren't able to take advantage of the colts secondary? Schaub had 311 passing yards. The Colts pass rush isn't missing anyone, a good pass rush can help a secondary.

Yeah, I'm happy with playing for the 2 seed, though I do think the Colts drop one or two games at some point. Besides, I can't in good conscience root for NE.

I brought that up cause it was funny how the flag doesn't get tossed until the pass falls incomplete. But we made plenty of mistakes tho so I'm not blaming the loss on that one call.

CHI @ SF

DET @ MIN
ATL @ CAR
DEN @ WAS
CIN @ PIT - The Bengals continue their dominant divisional play.
TB @ MIA - Miami can win this one!
JAC @ NYJ
NO @ STL - Dirtbag gets to ramble on for another week.
BUF @ TEN - 3 in a row! Maybe they can delude themselves into thinking their season is saved!
KC @ OAK
DAL @ GB - Do you really think Rodgers will be productive with Ratliff and Ware destroying him all day? This one goes to the Miles Austins.
SEA @ ARI - Who knows? Arizona sometimes throws these games just for the hell of it.
PHI @ SD - The Eagles are not the Giants.
NE @ IND - Tom Brady wins, Patriots fans at NeoGAF start popping up everywhere.

BAL @ CLE - It's an easy one, Baltimore.

And the Texans DO get credit? I had no idea Texan fans were so defensive about their team. You all are playing well, just finish games and you'll get to the playoffs.

We need Gonzo back. Garcon is dropping 50% of passes thrown his way:

The Colts offense seems to be struggling in recent games, and Demond found one of the reasons why. He mentioned it to me the other day, and when I did the math to check his claim, I was stunned to see how right he was.

I want to present you two WRs. Guess who they are.

WR 1
Games 8
Catches 27
Yards 320
TDs 3
DVOA: -22%
Catch rate: 47%
DYAR: -42

WR 2
Games 8
Catches 27
Yards 376
TDs 2
DVOA: -14%
Catch rate: 50%
DYAR: -5

Raise your hand if you think Marvin Harrison played well in 2008. No takers?
Now vote if you think Pierre Garcon has played well in 2009. I assume some of you have your hands up.

By now you've figured it out. WR 1 is Marvin Harrison through 8 games in 2008. WR 2 is Pierre Garcon this year (FO stats through 7 weeks). Remember that with Garcon you also have to factor in the 7 penalties he's accured this season.

I'm anticipating a passing game from the Pats similar to Schaub, who was no slouch Sunday except for a few rough spots. Colts and Pats have played enough bottom-feeders for us to not know exactly what they are yet.

1a i meant the texans D not getting any credit.
1b I have nothing to talk about for two weeks with regards to my team.
2, I'm tired of Texans fans like squicken who are captain negative. I have pointed it out and Mclaine and Justice, two houston sports writers have pointed it out Texans fans dont say shit when they win, they dont write in they dont call the sports stations, but when they lose they come out of the wood work saying Kubiak should be fired etc.
However, I dont believe that they are getting credit. Just as I said yesterday in last weeks thread ESPN takes one sound byte from Kubiak's presser that makes him sound like he isn't upset about the loss and then go on saying how there's no progress in houston.
No one expected us to go up there and win, we were 9 point dogs but we choked that game away? gimme a break.
I dont even know what or why im rambling anymore but im bored at work so rambling wastes time.

in this alternate reality, does Lavar Arrington offer me a line of credit on a new car simply by me bringing in my most recent paycheck?
