The 4 Fs symbol, a variation on the ancient swastika, can be found on the monogram of
the Turneschaft, a German Gymnastics Society founded in 1811 by Friedrich Ludwig Jahn.
The Fs stand for the German words "Frisch, Frei, Frölisch, and Fromm"
("Hardy, Free, Cheerful, and God-fearing").

I use it because it is the symbol used by the band Jawbreaker. One of the best bands that ever existed.

My avatar is from the cover of the Deftones album White Pony. I use this because I think Deftones is a very good band and because It's nice and quiet, no flashy stuff, but still sexy...just like me! :p

I got this v-card tag after expressing possible vagina envy when someone posted an engagingly friendly-looking, pink, tentacled dildo in the v-pocket thread. Spock flashing the VC gang sign is a meager attempt to deal with the psychic shame. After I am cleansed I will return to an avatar featuring either tentacles, a moustache, or a calabash pipe. or all 3.

Mine is from the cdi Zelda game, and was created by a very cool fellow GAFer. And I'm embarassed to admit that I forgot who. I think it was Scrow. Anyway, thanks again!

For years, I looked for a video of a monkey washing a cat in a sink. All I could find was a very small animated GIF. Then, one glorious night, the Daily Show played the clip out of the blue. I recorded the show on my computer and from that video, I painstakingly constructed what I believe is the finest animated GIF of a monkey washing a cat that has ever graced the Internets.


first person to say it's not really a monkey wins nothing!

It's been a while since I've seen the original video, but wasn't he ringing a bell or something?

I made mine after realizing how many weird internet fads revolve around something dancing around (Badger, bananas, hampsters, etc).

I dunno who made the dancing Mega Man GIF, but I edited it to reflect a utopian future where Mega Man becomes black and Afro'ed for great justice.

Also, it looks closer to what I look like now. :D
