Ok so who's getting all three?

I'll deffinitely be picking up an Xbox 360 this fall...first next gen system out PG3, Halo 3, PDZ(I'm positive it will turn out great), Square Online games, Ninja Gaiden Next, Lost Odyssey looks awesome...and of course Xbox Live.

The PS3 all the great hits, that I don't need to repeat, on it first with better graphics...got to get it. But please...the controller...I'm scared.

Nintendo ...I'll buy it if they show me somethign I want for it. So far the jury's out. Waiting to see what they're bringing to the table. Give me that gyro stroboscopic stuff if true;)

All in all I'm stoked. Can't wait to get my hands on that sexy Xbox controller.

I will be.
I don't know what to do with my old machines though.
I don't get the feeling that the PS2, Xbox and GC will mean as much in 20 years as the Famicom means now.

Before E3, I was going to get all three...but right now, Nintendo and MS need to do a lot more to get me interested in their machines again.

So for now, I'm only going with PS3.

It's sad, I was convinced I wouldn't be buying any new system because I don't touch my current ones and I must finish backlog before getting an entire fucking new system, but finding out they all have BC I'm worried I'll trick myself into thinking that justifies something.

I will. I just need to figure out how to rob a bank and make a clean getaway. Damn this next gen is gonna hit my wallet hard specially since i've been shopping around for a HD-TV for the holidays. OUCH! :)

I am getting everyone the day they come out

Went to my gamestop today and put down 50 bucks for the xbox 360, guy told me they only have 4 left to sell he said already after i put money down

Probably end up with all 3 like last gen

I don't plan on buying Xbox 360... Their marketing strategy repulse me even harder than it was with their first try!

"I don't plan on buying Xbox 360... Their marketing strategy repulse me even harder than it was with their first try"

Sounds personal. Do people not buy systems for the games anymore?

Man I sure hate that Final Fantasy....their president can't even speak ENGLISH RIGHT! ;)

Despite my attitude towards X360 and to a lesser extent, Revolution right now, I know I'll pick up all three eventually. If the games I want are on the systems, they will be mine.

I'm 100% on getting PS3. Revolution is very likely for the Zelda, Mario, Metroid, etc.

Xbox 360... i'm really not sure. I never intended on buying the original Xbox, but I found a good deal on ebay which is why I ended up getting one. I could live without playing Xbox titles, I find that most of the high rated games turn out to be overrated/not my style. Looking at my game collection, 90% of the things I play are Japanese anyway.

Nothing personnal, their not aiming anything interesting IMO. I don't get their micro payment, online strategy and no games are appealing to me... I thought Rareware could make me buy their system before I remember how slow they are at creating complete and interesting games! :lol

The sad thing is, I am serious. In an objective way, I don't have any reason to join the Xbox bandwagon...

I'll probably be skipping Xbox next gen and going just with PS3 and Rev (if it doesn't turn out to be a pos, and even if it does i'll still probably get it)

Right now the only system I am definitely going to buy is the PS3, since it has all the games that I am looking forward to. I will pick up an Xbox360 if the exclusive games turn out good, but I am not planning on getting it at launch. The only thing I know about the Revolution is that it will play all old Nintendo games, but that isn't a system seller for me until they announce how much they will be charging for each game.

i dont know enough about the revolution to make me want to buy it

on the other hand what i have heard does not make it all that appealing

ps3 and 360 are mine.

I will, but only the PS3 and 360 at launch. Both provide secondary entertainment uses that I really want (blu-ray, streaming media), plus they both have games I'll want right away (GTA, Amped, PGR).

Barring a drought of DS proportions, though, I don't see how a gamer (who isn't a child, poor, or retard fanboy) could stand to sit by and not buy the 360 and PS3 as soon as possible. I suppose I could make up excuses that "Console ___ doesn't have any games I'm interested in", but deep down I'd know I was lying.

Xbox 360 and PS3 for me. I don't feel the need to own all the consoles anymore and my judgement is that most of the best games will be on the two next gen platforms I'm buying.

There's really nothing interesting for me personally to say that I'll get any of them at this point.

- Sony had me with Warhawk. Then they showed that horrid controller.

- Microsoft had me with Perfect Dark. Then they showed me Wallguy.

- Nintendo had me with the Revolution design. Then they failed to show me anything else.

I don't know. I most likely will end up owning all the systems. I always have, but this time I very strongly doubt I'll be getting anything at launch.

Rev at launch. Especially if Super Smash Bros. is there. PS3 at launch as well. Xbox 360 has lost a lot of footing lately but Lost Odyssey and 99 Nights are keeping the hope alive. I'll have to wait a little bit longer to decide on 360 but I will end up buying it.

X360 and PS3, most definitely. BioWare on X360 and Heavenly Sword on PS3 make those choices done deals. I don't see myself getting a Nintendo system this time around, which is quite odd, considering I only wanted the GameCube originally last time around. I don't see any progression from Nintendo in terms of new IP and story elements, I just have no interest in constantly rescuing the same princess over and over. In before "you haven't even seen the Revolution yet" reply. Yeah, but this is Nintendo we're talking about. Immersive storylines and good action just do not seem to fall in line with their philosophy.

Of course, maybe Retro will have something non-Metroidish that will picque my interest.

I will buy all 3.

360 and PS3 as soon as theyre out un Amercia, easily. Both will have 3rd party and 1st party exclusive content that will make my wallet pay dearly, hah. Nope I'm not kidding myself,I'll not be content with the upcoming generation unless I own these. The Revolution I will get also, just not right away, unless i see a major Sega franchise to my liking, such as a great racer or platformer.

I still don't why people bitch about which platform is better. Just buy the fucking things or maybe sell blood or maybe a fucking limb so you have enough money for the other,it would definately keep these trolls from causing so much shit in this forum. :)

I can't lie, right now, I only own an XBOX and am getting a GC pretty soon (I want the Resident Evil games along with the new Zelda).

I am not a fanboy of any console, I had a N64 and then went to a Dreamcast to a XBOX so I feel loyalty to nobody. Sadly I just haven't had the chance to own a PS.

Nintendo will alwys have those exclusives that I want (Especially Zelda...I would have owned a GC already had Nintendo not messed around and made a cell shaded Zelda game last time). Mario, Mario Kart, DK, you know the deal. And of course they will pull in a fair share of exclusive third party support as well such as the Rogue Squadron series.

Since I own an XBOX now, I WOULD like see how the Halo series turns out, and Morrorwind (Along with game of the year) is like a religion. I don't even know how many hours I've clocked in on tha but its gotta be in the hundreds. Oblivion will be amazing I'm sure and will warrent buying XBOX at launch. I am wondering if the Microsoft/Sega relationship is still in tact? Panzer Dragoon Orta was an AMAZING Exclusive for XBOX and I pray that Sega decides to make another one. They also came out with Gunvalkerie (SP). Not to mention Jet Set Radio and Sega GT. It'd be a shame if these titles just disapeared forever........

PS2 hasn't sold like 90 units for nothing....and PS3 will be just as good (Well, BETTER this time since it will actually have the power to match with the other systems), truthfully, I have never paid much attention to Sony's consoles. I have never been a fan of the sqaure/enix games, and everything else that Sony had, another console always had something better. I will pick up a PS3 just for the old games alone, hopefully I will get into some of Sony's franchises as well. If anything, since it looks like PS3 will be the brute power console of choice this time, I can pick up the games like Splinter Cell and Prince of Persia on this console, knowing that they will be the best on this (Unlike last time when these games barely ran on PS2).

So yeah, I'll probably get all three. I mean hey, why the heck not?

I don't know yet. I'm psyched about the ps3 having full BC. Especially since I sold my ps2 lately because I had no use of it but now I regret it.

Also psyched about the Gamecube BC for the Revolution, even can use the controllers and all.

Xbox 360 well I know I'll have to get it because of Halo 3 and all, that's for sure.

I'm not getting any at launch though, I think I will be waiting price cuts for all systems.

I'll definately get the X360 and PS3. Nintendo will probably show something that'll really make me want the Revolution but right now I just don't know enough about it. We'll see.

I want a pic (to scale) of all three next to each other in the vertical position so I have an idea what they'll look like in my living room. :)

Right now just the Xbox 360 for me. That's all I can really afford with school costs and all. I'll be begging the family for a PS3 or Revolution for my birthday or xmas in '06.

PS3 definately. At launch. Rev, maybe. Too early and not enough info yet though. Xbox360 probably not. Depends on the PS3 launch date. If it really is spring, i will wait and use that $$$ on the PS3. If there is a year gap between the PS3 and XB360, i might take the plunge.

360 at launch depending on price. ps3 at lauch depending on games. revolution once it reaches the $100 mark unless they show something before launch that knocks my pants off which im hoping/thinking they will. so, yea, all 3 eventually.

I'll buy a used one after a few price drops. Waiting a year or two (or three) for me to be convinced to drop money on this crap again.

This is why Sony HAS to launch in Spring, cause if they don't I'lm doing the same thing you're doing. And I don't think we're alone on that.

I will definitely get a PS3. Sony really impressed me with their conference. They have a clear vision for the future and I will be there to support them.

I don't know what the Revolution is but if it is super awesome I will buy one at launch. If its just okay I will buy one down the road. If it sucks I won't buy one at all.

I won't be buying an Xbox360. There will probably be a lot of overlap with the PS3 as far as the games are concerned and in all likelihood the launch window games that I am interested in will probably be ported to the PS3 when it comes out and even if they aren't its not like there will be a lack of games to play. If they can seriously differentiate themselves from Sony the way Nintendo has (which seems unlikely) then I may consider purchasing the system after the price drops significantly.
