One person has been killed after a car struck a bus shelter in the southern French city of Marseille, police say.
The driver has been arrested. Police say it is not clear whether the van was driven deliberately into the shelter in the old port area or whether it was an accident.
But there are reports that another bus shelter in a different district of the city was struck earlier.
The second bus stop was struck at about 10:00 local time (08:00 GMT).
The Francetvinfo website says this incident was at Valentine in the 11th district, and the first was in the 13th district, where there were no casualties.
There have been no official statements on any motive.

No motive declared as of yet, but people are obviously on edge to stories like this.
BFMTV reported that the vehicle was a stolen Renault Espace and that the driver in custody was said to have psychological problems. Police advised locals and tourists to keep away from the port area.
