I mistakenly clicked Rockstar when I meant to click Bethesda. I'm a retard.

Yeah, Bethesda seems like a shell of their former self. I have little hope for ES6 or the next Fallout.

Do we lose the back catalog, too? With the possible exception of From (though their weird MP direction these days isn't great), I can't say I'd mind any of these disappearing if we're just focused on what they're building now. It's mostly dreck.

Of course, if we're losing back catalog, too, then Rockstar becomes the easy choice. Gameplay-wise, they've really never published a good game outside of Max Payne 1 and 2.
They didn't have anything to do with the first or second games, they were made by Remedy.

Uncharted slaps but tlou is a pompous borefest and the new sci fi game looks like some gen x nostalgia bait like stranger things. I voted naughty dog because I wouldn't miss them anymore.

Rockstar Games

It would cause everyone else to scramble and make a game good enough that can fill the void that they would leave. There's a high potential the other games would have better gameplay.

NaughtyDog has done nothing this entire gen. Last game they ruined one of my favorite IPs and next game features a bald space marine girl boss edition.

Bugthesda is next if they fuck up Elder Scrolls 6 (They gonna fuck it up)

From and Rockstar shouldn't be on that list.

Either Bethesda or Naughty Dog.

The last Bethesda game I played was Starfield and it was the biggest pile of dog shit packaged as digital goods for sale, ever.

The last Naughty Dog game I played was UC4 and it was a great game, including the DLC. Haven't played TLoU 2 yet but know the general sentiment of the quality of the game through memes, both, the haters of the story and the lovers of the gameplay.

So, I'd lean on choosing Bethesda for that abomination, Starfield, but also don't want to, because I want ES VI and I don't care about Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet.

So, sorry Naughty Dog lol

Naughty dog could vanish today and nobody would notice, and as soon as people do start asking questions, sony could just release another remaster of one of their old games to keep them content for years.

Clownshit and rollslop vs Todd and Druckmann. Going to have to flip those choices, boss.

Without hesitation, Naughty Dog.

My reasoning is purely selfish. Of the three, they are the least likely to make games in the genres or style I usually enjoy.

My favorite of their output has been Uncharted 2, and even there, most of the big setpiece moments failed to grab me. I'm just not a big fan of uber-linear roller coaster ride gameplay, and the kinds of stories they seem intent on exploring post-Uncharted more or less guarantee that the narrative side of the experience won't satisfy either.

All of them.
Naughty Dog haven't done shit, other than revel in their own anal expulsions.
Bethesda put the "Ug" in Ugly ass games.
Rockstar bring both the "Ho" and the "Hum" in equal measure.
Fromsofts modus operandi makes my eyes roll so hard, I'm afraid I'll lose them in the back of my skull.

ND/Druckmann deserves real credit for making both TLOU games 18+ games on a platform that's almost entirely dedicated to kid-friendly games.
Both games are rated 18+ everywhere but the US and would be rated AO if we had an objective/accurate rating system in place.
In an era where the best we get is games made for 'mature' 17 year olds Druckmann's given us two exceptions that are clearly made for an adult audience.

Rockstar, at the very least, pushes for more realism and finer detail in games. I don't really like their games, but they are advancing the medium an important way.

Kill ND, Bethesda and Rockstar and feed their souls to Miyazaki.

I don't really care about any of those 3.
Out of them I guess ND.
Rockstar at least has unparalleled production values, which can be fun to experience.
And I'm still somewhat interested in seeing the next TES and Fallout.

I doubt I'll care much for ND for as long as Druckmann is in charge.

Naughty dog. I've only played a couple of their games since PS1 and they were actually really good. But I play them the least out of these so they die.

edit: Duh, no. I play rockstar the least but they're massively impactful. So is From. Bethesda, eh... idk maybe I should try some more nd games lol.
