Wait, so are they going to be following the ONE webcomic or something? The Murata remake manga is in the middle of an arc that isn't even close to being done. Unless they just end the 2nd season in the middle of the arc, making it a cliffhanger. That or an anime original end.

OPM last year, Mob Psycho this year, OPM2 next year and Mob Psycho 2 the following year, ONE will have his series in lock down for anime of the year.

I hope we don't have to wait that long for Mob Psycho season 2. Unlike OPM, Mob Psycho has enough material for a season 2 right now.

I'll confess I'm more interested in the other show the One Punch Man director is directing at Madhouse next year. ACCA 13 looks way more up my alley. Better character designs too.

If they do 12 episode the manga will have enough content but it would be disappointing honestly, I'm hoping for 24 but that would mean they'll have to pass the manga maybe and follow the web comics. I just can't wait for

The solo ONE series finished up a major arc that could fill up a season. It's in a new arc/arcs which are a ways away from completion.
The Jump series did not finish that arc that the solo ONE series did, which this season is likely to be based on. It will take 5 years at the current pace.

I haven't followed the manga or webcomic, so I'm curious as to how
Garou becomes a big Boros-tier villain. Last I heard, Bang kicked his ass.
No spoilers please, I'm just wondering to myself.

I like them both but I greatly prefer the characters and setting of One Punch Man.

Also, it's not like either of them have incredibly deep or intricate tales. They're both equally superficial, but at least OPM attempts to address the depression and numbness that the protagonists of both shows display.

Those oil pains are nice and episode 11 and the one where it was Mob vs the sprial esper had great animation but OPM had Boros, Genos, Kabuto and S ranks vs Melzalgad.

I mean, it's just no competition imo.

Mob Psycho easily compares to that stuff. It has some great staff behind it.

If this is another 12 episodes then I don't see how they can make a satisfying season with Murata's remake content in its current state. They'd have to go ahead and finish up the MA arc with design help from Murata or something.

I'm okay with waiting two years per season so long as each show can replace the void the other leaves.

One Punch Man wishes its adaptation could be as good as Mob Psycho 100!

OPM looks rather plain excluding the major set pieces while MP100 oozes style and creativity on practically every other frame.

Yasssssss. I remember watching it and then reading on here that it'd be like 4 years til S2 (if ever) so this is great news.

the manga has been so boring lately i stopped caring, but cool for the people that were waiting for this i guess

also, mob psycho is way better

I hope they got character and creature designs from Murata for the martial arts tournament art and that they aren't seriously going to make a new season that ends before the next major arc starts lmao. We'll see.

It'd be silly to not let it be madhouse again considering how popular it got in the West. Once the Blu ray comes out its sure to sell a buttload, but we gotta wait until the dub is over I guess.
