Wasin Season 3? If so, fuck the story for trying to keep on humanize her like she actually isn't a piece of trash. I feel bad for Taystee she's stuck with three of the worst characters on the show. Black Cindy in particular is a caricature of a caricature at that point.Janae part of Red's beating
This season is really awful but Flaritza is still the best combo.
Question:
How was Sophia's character written off? I missed that part I think...? I went back a few pages and I wasn't "aware"
she was written off.
gets out helping nurse guy, is put into max as a temporary measure, learns the nun prisoner was released for old age/medical reasons. Since entire season is only a few days long, that's the end of her story for the season .
So by "written off", that means Sophia isn't coming back right?
Err, don't forget your spoiler tags lol
Agreed. I enjoyed it enough. I totally get the hate for season 3 though. I thought S3 was super boring.Just finished, didn't know people hated this season. I liked it 🤷
I got several episodes in and I can't go on. The moment that broke me:
When Red cut the dude's finger print off. I don't even know why. But that was the moment where I put my hands up and said "I'm done"
It's just not an interesting show anymore. The characters are all insanely cartoonish rather than fun cartoonish. Nothing is remotely realistic or, worse, compellingly written.
I read up on the rest of what happens. Seems like I'm not missing anything.
Good bye forever, Orange is the New Black.
Finished last night. It felt like they struggled for material - they had a starting point from last year, and they had a point at which they knew they wanted the season to end, but they struggled to fill the middle. As a result, you end up with a strong start and a strong finish but a lot of hit-and-miss fluff in the middle. It's definitely not as strong a show as it used to be, but I still liked it plenty and will be back next year.
i mean she was high as fuck
also, fuck taystee
Just finished it, where the hell was Healy, am I forgetting something?

I had the exact same thought lmao
I had the exact same thought lmao
He voluntary committed himself to a mental institution after having a mental breakdown that culminated in a suicide attempt last season
I always find myself wanting to skip the flashbacks (I'm doing that now actually)
The only really bad thing I completely disliked about the season was in the finale:Are we really supposed to believe that Lydia is now going to become a prisoner, if even for a few episodes?
Why not?All the prisoners' files got torched in the finale, so it wouldn't surprise me if it took them at least a few days to sort everything out during the administrative chaos.
What a missed opportunity. Could've had a really amazing episode that concluded the story arc for these characters and set up a reboot with an entirely new cast of prisoners. Instead, they wasted so much time with the meth heads, the white supremacists, and Suzanne. Good god, what did they do to Suzanne's character? If after season one you told me the character would go from a mentally deranged sexually aggressive threat to what feels like a female version of Hodor, I would've never believed it.
