Origin $20 off coupon [Expired - EA states they're honoring games]

Is the Command & Conquer 3 I would want called C&C Red Alert 3? Is uprising just an expansion?

Also, whats the story on C&C 4? Is it any good?

If you create new accounts, it's actually possible to wipe out the whole EA catalogue. But, you know, don't...

Why they have allowed this to continue, I have no idea. Surely they can see the massive influx of people flocking to their site and all of the $0 purchases. It's madness!

I just read about this new method.

- Don't login. Add the game and use the discount.
- Remove the game from the checkout.
- Search the game again. Price should be zero.
- Buy the game.

Can't confirm if it works.

Can I get the sims 3 stuff packs on one account and install it even if my sims 3 base game is on an other account?
No, pretty sure The Sims 3 community is automatically tied to an origin account of the same email, so either way you peg it each account is locked to one set of Sims 3 games. Not sure if this is valid but people say you can ask support to merge accounts?

Command & Conquer 3 is Tiberium Wars, not Red Alert 3. RA is the spin-off/prequel of C&C. Kane's Wrath is the expansion to C&C3. Uprising is an expansion pack to RA3.

By my recommendation, if you just want one or the other, get C&C3. overall it's much more fun.

It works completely fine if you just login when asked to while making the purchase.

no there is a limit now which is around 2-3 games for most people, however the method above allows you to bypass that limit

jesus lol, the story continues

I was able to get around the limit by not logging in until forced to while making the purchase (after adding the games and using the code) but without going through the loopholes of removing the game and adding it again.

I'm pretty sure at this point we've identified every last bug in their system.

Holy God I can't believe this is entering a second day.

Holy Crap I just tried it again and got Dark Spore and Spore.

How has EA not fixed this yet lol

Because it's free publicity.

This is the greatest marketing campaign they've ever done for Origin or their franchises.

Just think how many people might buy Dead Space 3 or MOH: Warfighter now that they've gotten their predecessors for free? It's genius.

It worked for me. I got 4 games now, 2 confirmed.

I've found a way to get it working for those of you getting invalid codes.

While logged out of Origin go here: http://slickdeals.net/?sdtid=531609...OfferID=29945460209?sourceid=Origin_AFF_LS715
Add the game you want to the cart.
Apply the code.
Then delete the game from the cart.
Back on the slickdeals page if you sort by price you should see this:
dd.png
In a new tab sign into Origin.
Then back on the other tab add the game to the cart.
And now you'll be able to purchase it for free on your account without having to input the code.

Wario64

works for Gamestop (lol)
Origin is loading at 14.4 k speeds

So you do that trick above and then I can just add a bunch of multiple games? Or only 1 game per checkout?

LOL. Yup, that does indeed work.

And hell, good job EA- I probably never would have been interested in a Burnout or NFS game before but after getting them for free here, I might consider getting the new ones.

So that's where the cheap Sims 3 was! Thank you, will try this!

One at a time it seems.

To be honest, if you're patient enough to deal with that site, you deserve all the free games you have time to add.

What a joke Origin is...lol...I mean, their site has been getting hammered for 24hr+ and they still haven't figured it out? By figuring it out, I mean - either fixing their site, adding servers, optimizing things (for the newfound load) - OR simply disabling the promotion...but no...nothing. EA must be so friggin' behind the times with their management of this platform versus more established platforms.

It doesn't work for me. Upon logging in, it takes away the code and the games go back to regular price.

You really think they don't know?

Maybe they want you all too download Origin, then take away all the games. Too make it seem like the Origin userbase is growing.

Yes, I truly believe they do not know. I mean, why would we still be having problems loading the page hours and hours and hours after the promo began? If they were truly in this to expand Origin - then why not expand their site's capacity? Seriously...it makes zero sense. It is as if they only monitor this service 9-5 M-F.
