If EA really wanted to stop this then they would have stopped it already. You cant sell games on your digital store front if nobody ever has it open. And this is a good way to get people to keep the origin client open while they are playing games on it. Maybe they didnt mean for it to happen to the original extent, but maybe they did. It was all EA games right?

Haven't there been games that launched as EA Origin only from the partners program? Man I feel bad for any company that got suckered into that. You can really tell that Origin hasnt taken off for them like they thought it would. And it wont either. Their DD PC sales are forever doomed to fall short because they wont put them on Steam. It's not even about any boycott, it's that Origin will never have the presence that Steam has.
