Outrun 2 for Xbox can now be acquired for $19.99 at EB stores. And since EB's Winter Sale includes a promotion where it knocks off an additional $5 dollars (through 1/30), Sega's racing beauty can now be had for $14.99! Yay! Go buy it! :D

It takes 5 minutes to beat in arcade mode. There are something like 100 missions too that are really quite hard at times.

It's the most replayable of all Xbox games, though, so no worries on that front.

And the game has replay value, if that's your concern.

Damn, I wish EBGames.com offered either this OutRun deal or Alien Hominid -- OutRun's still overpriced and Alien Hominid is nowhere to be found out here.

Didn't think so but I donid see Hominid at best buy.
I was heading to EB tommarow so Outrun2 on the cheap made my day....

To bad no Otogi 2 on the cheap =(
 
I got it for $20 at Walmart a few weeks ago. Great deal, great game. But I would've felt cheated if I had spent $40 on it.

This is my 2nd favorite xbox game from last year, after Ninja Gaiden. I think it's probably the best arcade racer outside of Super Mario Kart.

Most people think a bit less of it, probably, but a few sites (e.g. Gamespy) agree with me.

It's a damn sight better than, say, Burnout 3.
 
Bought it today as well on my way home from school. Can't stop playing it, and people were complaining about the music, but it's campy in a good way. Now all we need are the Special Tours as downloadable content and we will be golden. I'll be on XBL soon, I just need a little bit more practice.

damn thats a good price, i picked it up when it was 19.99 at walmart, and as soon as i started playing it, i was kicking myself for not purchasing it earlier...

good ol sega drifting goodness.

now about the OTHER outrun 2......please sega?....for me? :D
 
not trying to troll, but burnout 3 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> outrun 2. outrun 2 feels so dated and boring in comparisson. it wasn't horrible, and if burnout 3 didn't exist it would be top arcade racer, but even @ $14.99 i can't bring myself to purchase it. give me single digit pricing sega, then we'll talk

burnout 3 ownz. i love it. but Outrun 2 has its own charm. its great execution in its own simplicity makes it very addictive.

great game you can just pick up to get a quick fix.
