Heroes like Hanzo/Widow attract the worst type of teammates in FPS. This is true across any FPS that allows you to be a sniper class. I put a lot of the blame on Blizzard, when you design such a teamwork heavy game with only 6 spots per team, putting in heroes that are largely worthless when played by 99% of the player base is just bad design to me, especially when you know they'll be popular in spite of the fact people suck with them.
Ana is a well designed sniper, she fills a role that most of those types of players won't touch because they have no interest in actually helping the team, lol.

Congrats! Half of my missing items are sprays and voice lines. I'm sure I can get them with my extra gold before the event ends.
Hanzo helps the shit out of his team. His Sonic Arrows let the team know where the enemy is, his Ult has synergy with other heroes, his Arrows are easy enough to hit that they can do supplemental damage for the rest of the team.
Widow, on the other hand, just has her wallhack ult. And nothing else.

A good Hanzo, sure. But how many bad Hanzo players do you run into before you see a good one? The point being, these types of players will rarely ever switch, and are much more lone wolf focused in a game that requires everyone to be on the same page.
I'm talking as a solo player here, group dynamics change everything of course.

If people can't sense a giant screaming tire flying at them from above and take necessary precautions, they deserve to die.
I hesitate calling myself a good Hanzo, but I feel just me playing normally helps the team. Sonic Arrow, for example. I fire it to see where the enemy team is going so that I can get a better shot. Now, this has the added benefit of helping my team, but the reason I'm doing it is primary to help MY arrows hit their mark. Now, this isn't always the case, if I think an enemy is at the objective and I can't get to it, I do fire a sonic to both draw my teams attention to the guy there and to help get an angle on him that I can't, but a sonic, by it's very nature, helps everyone.
I never got the hatred for Hanzo and I still don't. Lone wolfing might be an odd tactic in a team game, but it can work just because what a lone wolf aims to do is still going to help a team. I've encountered bad Hanzo players, sure, but I've encountered bad players of every hero and I don't see a distinction with him. Widowmaker, sure, because her abilities are designed in such a way that she can't help but be a lone wolf type character. But Hanzo's aren't better or worse than anyone else.
BTW, what WAS the update that just went up on PS4?

I'm honestly content with Diamond, I don't feel like my mechanical skill on KB/M is good enough to get much higher, and my hero pool is so few on PC because of it, lol.

Test connection, everything fine, speeds look to be in normal range. Restart PS4 and router. Still won't work. Restart both again, update router, reconfigure network settings so port forwarding is active. Can now get into Netflix but still can't get into Overwatch... Was going to finish my comp placements too currently sitting at 6-2...

In terms of results not really (1-3), but we were trying some different things. I stuck to support in all games filling the batman gap and had fun for the most part.
Owzers had a chance of going Torb in Anubis but he picked Junkrat instead.
It was fun to watch.
I still have problems with the Genji ult (no regs), don't know if might be related. Also that 20tick thing.
That was the ugliest.

Wow that's a long time coming. Usually get 46 in practice range and 54 in match.
Game 2 - Where I can get 2 kills of the enemy before being focused fired without my team backing me up.
Why am I getting matched up against the most insane players today. First a Hanzo that was precognizant in his aiming without seemingly using a m/kb, now an utterly psychotic reinhardt that no one could take down.

I must be on a list or something - 8 losses today. 1 win.
We mostly treat him like the troll he is. The PC discord tends to be pretty chill on most days, the worst we normally have is some pretty straightforward shit talking. Some people do tend to rag on the OT thread a bit since there are differently minded people about.
I don't really rag on the thread that much, I just stopped posting cause I'm still on indefinite hiatus from Overwatch and the thread isn't really a place to talk about what I observe. I've been binge playing LoL and PUBG lately instead.

Oh god, it took me forever to get my daily loot box today. I kept getting really shitty groups who refused to pick support so I was usually the only healer in a group of DPS or the only tank in a group with only one other tank.

I am five games deep into Lucioball placements after not touching the game for like two months and I'm really struggling here. If they took some care into this it could actually be something resembling fun, but it's just kind of dressed to look nice while having nothing backing it. It doesn't even play like some fantasy version of soccer but more of some messy version of pool where everyone's fighting for their turn to shoot a floaty oversized beach ball. It would be nice if boops enforced direction of aim when contacting with the ball so as to actually simulate one's ability to actually kick a ball in a way that's not just straight on.

I'm probably spoiled by Rocket League, but Lucioball just feels frustrating to play to me. The speed feels too slow unless you're doing your ult, there's no good reason usually to wall ride, and if there's any lag, contact with the ball can be a real guessing game.
