Amen. Rein was my favorite tank to play at first and his skin was the first skin I bought but good god is he the least fun tank for me now. I count my blessings that GAF-PS4 peeps have no issue playing as him.
you know now that you mentioned it, all the defense heroes are the salt/rage generators of the game lmao
There are times where I can feel the sense of autopilot creeping on with him and Lucio. It's just when people lose without Rein someone chimes in that we could've used a Rein last round which is glaringly obvious at that point.
I hear that, this season has been trash for me too. Most of the damage was done via solo queue, sort of climbing now with a 3/4 stack.

I don't see what's boring about a 10-foot tall German with a rocket hammer who bashes the shit out of his enemies. I guess because he doesn't have a gun. I can appreciate it to some degree. I enjoy playing Reinhardt because it's such a power trip, but sometimes I want to be more active and mobile, and that's not what he does. Still, I don't get how his appeal doesn't reach more people. Everything about him screams power.
Edit: The patient stuff, I guess? I like the patient gameplay part of him too and how he can explode at the drop of a coin into wrecking an enemy team, but I guess some people don't like not moving 1000 mph all the time?

Situational. Soldier 76, Zen, and Ana all come to mind. A second healer would be good with all those tanks, but Pharah might be a priority (she's #1 on my threat list when building a team comp >_>)
Tell Roadhog or D.Va to go DPS because Mercy can't babysit 3 tanks, and if they don't, go Zenyatta. If they do switch, go Soldier 76 or Mei.

Same but different heroes. 50 hours on Roadhog 0 on Genji but they play Genji when Roadhog would have suited the comp.
I would go Soldier. Besides the Mercy (Ana would be better), that's a pretty standard defense comp for first point now. Protect Symmetra like you would any other support too. Teleporter on Volskaya is one of the maps it's extremely game changing on.

76 for sure. Extra healing + hitscan is best for balance in that comp.
So I originally picked soldier in this game, but our Rein refused to leave spawn without another healer, so I picked Ana. I had also been playing soldier on offense and we steamrolled them, had 5.5 minutes remaining for round 2
I'm still iffy on what role Symmetra should replace.

Also tell Symm to place turrets on their spawn before the match starts to build some ult - with just one healer, the earlier the shield gen is up the better. Mercy + S76 heals + shield gen can work. Sometimes.
Drop the Mercy and DVA. Pick up Mei, Torb, Ana for the ultimate cheese.
Symmetra should take the healer's role for sure, leaving Mercy to solo heal. But to make it work the other team members gotta pick characters that can heal themselves like Tracer, Soldier, Mei, Roadhog and Zarya so Mercy can focus on solely healing Reinhardt. If your team insists on a second healer, then Symm takes the DPS spot, but both healers gotta be Ana/Zen to supplement the DPS potential lost.

Can you make up for a constantly vacant 6th spot, or a Mercy that can't outheal my 900 healing from when I played Roadhog 3 minutes on the first round and then swapped?

Scatter arrow does 450 dmg when shot correctly infront of the enemy feet. So yeah... it's possible.

Hanzo isn't OP in the slightest but they could delete Scatter Arrow from the game and you wouldn't hear a single complaint from me.
or at least increase cooldown on it. its what tilts me the most in this game

I know it's possible because it's happened to me as Zarya more than once. I've known it was possible since beta and I watched videos to try and find out how. But it never works for me. Every time I end up with Fucking Hanzo in mystery heroes I try to pull it off and the only thing that ever happens is the scatter arrows strategically dodge every enemy in the vicinity.
I don't know what's the deal with arcade, it always feels like the matchmaking isn't working properly. It's nothing like QP.
For real. You gotta be big mad to type out any sort of message with a controller.

Ranking of how good the team plays together when playing Overwatch: Competitive >>> QP > Arcade > Mystery Heroes. As soon as you drop out of comp nobody even tries to play group up and as such everything comes down to player skill and just plain luck sometimes, if the enemy team some whats stays together and yours not you can guess what happens.
Probably Ana or Zen. I don't trust solo healing. It's so easy to pick off that one solo healer and then the entire side is boned.
You could probably also do some bullshit like Ana main healing + Mercy damage boosting Symmetra lol.
Once the new patch comes out game should look a lot better (some predicting, some guaranteed)

Feels good when you cap both points in Hanamura/Volskaya with more than 6 minutes left. Matchmaking was on our side today.
