This. Kaiju designs were incredible. Each one distinct but very clearly from the same grain.
Surprising, this may be the first time I've somewhat enjoyed 3D in a film. Will have to see in 2D again to make sure.

Scale and sound helped sell the danger. But what sold it the most for me was the pure ferocity with how the kaiju fought.

They had a big stack at my theater and they were pretty much unguarded. I saw people leaving with them as I was entering for the 7 PM show which was the first viewing, Seems that some people were just taking them without even watching the film.

Hong Kong, I was legit terrified as the Kaiju were tearing apart Typhoon and Cherno.

I never thought I'd ever rekindle the feeling I had watching Jurassic Park for the first time in theaters as a 9-year-old, and I have to thank Guillermo del Toro for giving that to me with Pacific Rim.

I was ripped off my Regal Theatre didn't have any posters. Last time I go there for a while.... The movie was great as long as you keep in mind your going in for a summer movie. The action was the incredible, but the only downside was that the climax wasn't as great as it could have been. If you're going to see this movie at all definitely do so in 3D it wasn't obtrusive at all.
