PAL Charts - Week 35, 2015

Holy fuck PS4. O.o
Well, i was right with XBO, but i really overestimate old gen...

Also, Metal Gear Solid V < 184,000

EDIT: 169,880 at the end.
So:

[PS4] 122,313
[XB1] 37,373
[PS3] 5,096
[360] 3,397

It's a little disappointing sales-wise that TW3 debuted higher no?
I mean, I didn't expect MGS to beat Batman, but I thought it has a more mainstream appeal than TW3 at least, wonder if Konami is happy about the sales.

MGS V - 169,880 (95%)

Great numbers! Especially for a series I'd still consider relatively targeted at a niche audience despite it's huge brand popularity.
Wish it could've outsold Batman and TW3 though but I'm still happy.

I'd say the heavy weight towards PS4 sales isn't all that surprising.

Its the UK region, MGS is basically a Playstation legacy title and PS4 has the bigger install base.

gad damn that's a very impressive skew for the PS4. I expected it to have the lead comfortably but this is just beyond my expectations even.

Holy shit, that's a crazy split.

Like damn. Makes you wonder if they'll even bother with X1 if there's another MGS.

Damn my gut, it just keeps giving me bad vibes. I shouldn't have had that crayfish salad...

The point is that Sony skipping Gamescom didn't change anything in Europe, in fact they are dominating more than ever, especially in Germany, which is the second largest market in Europe.

Well, Sony did not skip Gamescom entirely, they had a strong presence on the showfloor, and they have a strong presence on the overall European market.

Xbox One getting the ability to record free-to-air TV (which was pretty much the only new Xbox announcement from Gamescom) is not going to change anything. Over here, free-to-air aerial TV has HbbTV, free channels have their own free online archives, bigger TV providers have their own features, etc. And I live in freakin' Estonia, so bigger and wealthier EU countries must have even better services.
