And when you get even older you'll drop the oh so serious judgement of comedies and find silly humor funny again.

Take the trident out of your ass.

I love silly humour. Give me some classic slapstick over this anyday.

I really liked the first movie..
Yet, I didn't walked out of the theater at the end..or after watching it on DVD thinking "OMG I can't wait for the sequel"..

Why not just leave it , and get the cast to make something else..they all work pretty..great together.

So many quotable parts in this movie. elwes is sad panda. :(

Maybe they'll find a way to get it made regardless.

Anchorman was GREAT when it first came out but it's definitely aged a bit. Some of the gags/lines still hold up but there's quite of few scenes that drag (Brick is considerably less funny).

That said, I still love it (and Ferrel/Mckay) and I'm very disappointed by this news. I actually work for a film financier so I'm going to send out some suggestive emails to a couple people tomorrow (probably too late).

I don't get why more actors don't try to foot the bill for their movies in hopes to get a bigger pay day. Mel Gibson and James Cameron have practically become billionaires by footing some of the budget for there movies.
