I bought a flask tab for the guild stash to better organize our flasks. Only donate flasks that have the "gains charges per second" modification, because that's the only one that's worth a damn.

If you check out a flask, please return it when you upgrade to the next tier of flask, thank you!

We have a guild here? How can I join?

Ugh. That's what i want to play the most, but the current state of the game being such a fucking slog the idea of rerolling again seems like a chore instead of excitement.
Would be cool if Huntress gets released so soon. Probably going to run Infernalist for Range and Huntress for Melee. The 2 different playstyles require different approaches to combat encounters so it might be worth it.

Is there any way to make party loot round robin instead of free for all? It's pretty frustrating having to split loot between my party and slows the game down tremendously. I think I'd rather just go back to Diablo for that reason alone (unless I'm mistaken and Diablo is the same?)

Isn't it grayed out if it's meant for someone else and then it becomes clickable when they had their chance? I agree though, I prefer everyone have their own instanced loot.

It isn't much, but I donated 50 points for the guild.

You can change the system in the Options under "game".

tem allocation is the system by which dropped items are assigned to members of a party. Each area instance has an allocation setting which is fixed when the instance is created. This will default to the party leaders default allocation setting, which can be changed in the options panel, or changed for a specific party in the social panel.

An allocated item will be greyed out to other players and they will not be able to pick it up. However, alert sounds or visual effects will still play for all players.

There are currently 3 allocation options:

  • Permanent Allocation:
Once allocated to a player, the allocation is set until that player leaves the area.
  • Short Allocation:
The allocation lasts 5 seconds then becomes available to all players.
  • Free for All:
No items are allocated.

Change Item Allocation in the settings. The default is Short Allocation

Have I screwed up my build, or is there a site with recommendations for this character? Feel like I'm outputting very little damage at level 8. Is there a way to respec?

Focus on a decent weapon with +physical damage. Use orbs if you have to. That will give you the largest dps increase.
Although I haven't played the class, I reckon support gems that increase damage on main attack will also be good, like the +35% phys dam.

Don't lose hope, melee enjoyers!

Monk has a really busted ice build too.

Damn, dropping bosses like that really shows the potential of good builds.

Now I feel bad for deciding not to go big bam bam style, that every streamer and his mother seems to go for as a warrior, because I wanted to try shield/block build.

That 1 shot warrior build was already nerfed to heck afaik.
Also, I just came to stage 8 (boss) on the trials. Fuck the honor system, I don't think it's doable with melee classes.
If you get hit, you lose honor. But that is the thing with melee classes, we can't dodge everything/we don't want to, lol.
There is so much AoE going on with that boss, that it's just not doable. The rooms before were not that difficult.
Guess I will come back when I am a lot stronger.
Also I don't know how guilds work because I am forever alone. :'(

The video I posted isn't using the skill that got nerfed.
Looking at the comments, it is the one I watched. There was an update before the video was posted yesterday. Afaik.
Which video are we talking about? The one quoted above me? The comments say that got nerfed already. I don't know mang.

I did the trials near the end of Act II as a warrior. Boss is easy then and his attacks have long wind up, so easy to dodge. I ignored the little volcanos and just went all out with roll slamming, some armor break and dodge rolling. Also heavy stun om him seems to have a relative long stun time. The main thing you need to look out for is the triple AOE slam that increases in size.

I've got next to zero experience with this genre so have no idea how this type of game should play, my only minor complaint is that running feels slow but it's fine while in combat.

But I'm still only on Act 1, having fun playing/learning; bosses seem challenging but fair and it feels good on a controller too.

I did the trial on my monk at level 24. You have to secure the path and take the less risks (and bad boons) until the boss (I reached it with a bit more than 500 honour on my win run).
The thing is it's making you play differently as you can't even take damage to your shield as it lowers honour too (any hit you take does).
I used Ice spells from a distance to kill the boss (not my playstyle until that point).

Infinity Nikki and Marvel Rivals have both announced that they have over 10 million players. The former isn't on Steam, and Path of Exile 2 has been beating the latter pretty much every day when it comes to peak concurrent player numbers, so why no official numbers yet? Plus POE2 is also topping the Steam sales charts, with Marvel Rivals in second place. Is the game not doing as well on console, or are the developers just waiting for an even larger announcement?

Really enjoying the boss battles and even the named rando tough guys through the levels. The Titan and Firey bosses in act 2 had me play a bit different being fire/ranged, never thought I'd be able to survive close up but worked for both. Maybe my fucked old hands still have enough in them to play a more action style, will find out with other classes.

How do we do this? If we all add similar I'm sure it'll help out.
Figured it out and put 50 in as well.

It's the boss itself and it's AoE damage bs, lava on floor, dropping from ceiling etc that does me in. I know the monk has the ranged ice thingy, saw it when my friend used it. My warrior is shit at ranged. I will get back to it when I am higher level I guess.

How's the performance on the SteamDeck, especially when things get busy?

I've set some stuff to medium and some settings to high as dinamic lighting + global illumination. DRS on, DX12 with Intel XeSS on balanced, and sharpness set to 55%. I'd say it's pretty playable, some fps drops here and there but I'm having a great time on Deck with the game so far . Things could only improve performance wise from now on.

The Act 2 caravan hub appears to be heavily CPU limited on the Pro. Even switching to PSSR Ultra Performance with dynamic resolution enabled it drops below 40fps. Anyone else see the same?

Dude on my Witch I just got a chest drop that adds 150 spirit to my character which brings me to 250(ish) spirit now. I have minions all over the place. Game of the year for me. I love this shit.

I have 6 warrior skeletons, two snipers, one mage, raise zombies for up to 10 zombies, unearth which can now do 10 of those bugs... sometimes my shit takes up half the screen. Enemies should be running from me when I walk in.

Not great but very playable. Probably put 5-6 hours on my Steam Deck alone. It's kind of funny when shit gets really busy you almost want to cheer the little Steam Deck on. "you got this little buddy!" :messenger_tears_of_joy:
