Path of Exile 2 Early Access |OT| An Exile like ARPG.

No you do the 4 acts then there are 2 "interludes". New side stories that are filler for acts 5 & 6. They are quite meaty apparently. They will go into the end game once the game is finished so the content won't be wasted.

No cruel difficulty anymore.
I see, cool thanks. Sounds good.

The mansion level in the end of Act 1 was so cool with the gothic atmosphere and soundtrack.

I got through Act 1 with the free weekend. I want to go back as soon as my budget allows it.

Yeah I play on pad and its like one of the best twin stick shooters ever.
The aiming is miserable on controller. Always seems to lock onto the wrong bloody target. To be honest I'm having a miserable time in general on PS5 Pro. Targetting, input delay with movement, clunky menus. I regret purchasing early access to be honest. The first game was the same so it's on me. Playing ARPG on PC is miles better. Currently playing new season of LE simply because I have it on PC and PoE2 on PS5. Also recently played TQ2 early access on PC and it was mint. Probably won't touch PoE2 again until it's fully released on PC and is free.

Two quick questions, if someone who knows would be kind enough to answer.

When do stash tabs generally go on sale?

And what is usually considered the best ratio of disenchanting to selling for gold? I assume anything with quality or a socket should always be salvaged, but I'm not sure about the rest.

I manual aim with the right stick so that's not an issue for me.

I think they do a sale once a month or there abouts.

Dunno if I'm doing it right but I normally disenchant rares and sell everything else that doesn't have something worth saving.

Have you used both free aim and focus fire (auto aim), and neither of them felt right to you?

If you go to the bind menu from the radial menu you can adjust how the controller aiming works.

Stash tabs sales is usually ~2 weeks after launch.

Hollow Palm makes monk progression super smooth.

I leveled 1-23 with lightning arrow/lightning rod since it's still stupid powerful at low levels then switched to storm wave hollow palm and have worked up to T15 maps already. No need to wait on a good weapon drop makes things a lot easier.

You'll have POE on PC as well? just link your accounts. Its cross buy/save is it not?
Microtransactions are locked. If you buy a stash tab on PC it will be "read only" on PS5. You can get items but can't store in read only tabs. And if you buy them again on PS5, you will not have extra tabs, it will just enable full access to the tabs you already had.

Yeah I thought the game was crossbuy but unfortunately that's not the case (until it goes ftp obviously).

MTX are only locked between PS5 and other formats I think. I believe they are unlocked between Xbox and PC.

I think you can play the game on PS5 with the PC EA by linking accounts. I only bought the console version because I was annoyed by the read only stash tabs.

Thats what I thought but upon further investigation it is unforunately not the case. Its cross play/save but you need a separate code for each platform.

"This is 100% a limitation of early access combined with Xbox/playstation store policies.
Good news is at full release the thing you're asking for will be instantly implemented - ie the game will go free to play so you can play it on other platforms with no additional purchases.
Bad news is it almost definitely will NOT happen prior to full release. This is due to Sony/MS policies on their console stores."

Weird. I really thought I double dipped on PS5 for the stash tabs 😆

PS5 Pro owners: I've been testing PSSR and currently have disabled DRS, opting for the Performance profile. Ultra performance seems to get worse fps somehow. IQ is greatly improved without DRS, and fps in act 3 so far is 60+ (I'm using 120hz mode).
I don't think DRS is helping PSSR in this game, at least not right now.

Idk do people really like the league seasons? whats so good about this? It's also presented in diablo 4 and every new season you have to create a completly new character just to get the new features. It just feels like you lost your savegame and start from 0.

That's why it's good. My characters from last season are finished. I want to try new stuff.

I would prefer they just reset all skills and inventories, while keeping the same level. Then you go through new endgame content with a new build.

If they're going to keep the current system, there needs to be new things during the old acts. Like bosses using new moves or transforming.

I am a Long time Diablo fan and now just getting into the original POE. I want to try this one but don't want to pay $30 for an unfinished game. I hope to try it out upon release or I get lucky with a key.

Update has me fully bought in. I really struggled with .01 and skilled .02.

The updates and QOL changes they have made are fantastic and all the new enemies look great.

The animations are SO damn good…well done GGG.

Just finished Act 1 as a Monk. Had trouble with the Act Boss, but I also knew what I was getting into playing this particular melee class.
Still, getting to use the Quarterstaff with some Ice and Lightning abilities was fun.
I just didn't know what to do fancy on the Act 1 boss. Just kept spamming the Ice wave thingy with my quarterstaff. No charges are there to do lightning damage and in the wolf mist section just trying to stay alive. Killed him but felt unearned.

So, in this 4 year old video of PoE 2 the game had an auto sprint between encounters. Even back then. It solved the issue without the need to roll first or turn like you're piloting a boat. Not sure why that was cut..

Edit: My bad, I turned on sub titles and noticed it was when he used a quick silver flask. But anyway, I think that could have been a nice fix. Auto sprinting when not engaging in combat. Instead of getting knocked down they could have just reduced your defense ala Diablo 2 when running. I hope they are still planning on tweaking the system.
