Path of Exile 2 Early Access |OT| An Exile like ARPG.

How's this

Nice, taking a 5% hit on ms and rarity but the rest frees up my rings for other stuff.

I need hybrid body armour as I'm running hollow palm and losing an explicit es amount on body armour means I lose a chunk of crit chance.

This update was great, until the endgame. Not a fan of juicing maps with towers. Trying to find 6-7% quant tabs AND 3 towers...playing delirium maps so everything is all foggy...I'm hoping 0.4 really makes endgame fun and bring druid.

0.4 is exactly that. End game and Druid plus whatever else they can fit in.:messenger_sunglasses:

Can you share your steps for crafting?

This is what happened.

I was initially browsing some of the saved magic bases that we have in the guild stash to see if there's a good base I can craft from with going from a good magic base to using a Greater Essence of Opulence to get rare boots with MS, defense, and rarity and then go from there.

But then I started calculating what it would cost to do what I wanted to do and I figured it would cost around 200 exalts.

So then I figured, well shit, if it's gonna cost me 200ex to craft in the first place, I wonder if there are any boots on the market that have what he wants that are already 200ex and I'll just buy it outright. Since a lot of crafting techniques are out in the wild, the cost of materials has increased and the cost of finished goods have decreased. This makes it so that profit crafting using recipes from streamers aren't as lucrative as they once were.

However, an interesting effect of that is that there are people who are trying to follow a guide who don't understand what they're doing. They end up with unfinished crafts that aren't that good and they don't know how to fix them, so they dump them on the market. This lead me to come across 5 pairs of boots that I saw on the market for 10 exalts each that were all pretty decent, but they had 2 out of 6 mods that were shit, which made them undesirable.

This is the plan - use the Essence of the Abyss on all of them, and I have a 1 in 3 chance of removing one of the bad modifers. Then, I can desecrate the Mark of the Abyssal Lord and hopefully get something better. If the odds are 33%, if I gamba with 5 items I should get at least one optimal result. So the total cost was 5 base items x 10ex = 50ex, 5x Essence of the Abyss is 70ex, and 5 Preserved Ribs are 5ex, so 125ex total cost.

So, I had 5 boots with 25MS, one decent defense mod, 2 decent cold and fire res mods, and 2 shitty mods. On one of them, I erased a shitty prefix with Essence of the Abyss, and when I desecrated, I hit a decent amount of +evade and +energy shield.

In other words, since Omen of Homogenizing Exaltation and Omen of the Abyssal Echoes are so expensive right now, I thought it might be better if I brute force my way to getting lucky via other cheaper means and multiple tries.

Oh, if it's resistances you need, I can easily make some rings that'll cover almost all of them.

I'm pretty much capped at my current equip, i think 69% on cold, 0% on chaos. Big issue I run into with rings is that I need to have dex/str rolls to accommodate my skills and heralds, alongside needing flat lightnight/cold damage rolls, some mana leech and then a bit of rarity if luxury allows.

My current ring setup. About to hit subterfuge mask on level up for that delicious EV boost based on helmet ES.

I mean I could be doing that....but I just don't bother with it and concentrate on what I have fun with. Even without optimal juicing, I take the drops that I get and craft them into bangers that sell for a lot. Most of my currency was made with magic drops that I recognized as a valuable base and sold as is, or crafted into something worth more.

don't I know it lol. Probably going to shelve this character and go immortal lich again. Just too squishy and can't mitigate attack interrupts enough to make it work without dumping currency into the build that i don't have.

If you want tankiness for cheap, it looks like Connor's strategy of using Stalking Panther on Amazon is working really well. Stalking Panther doubles the evasion on gloves, boots, and helmets, so the trick is to get high evasion and high deflection gloves, boots, and helments, and then go pure high energy shield for the body armor.

He's doing lightning arrow on his Amazon, but you can use this strategy for any build really. It might be fun for the accuracy attack speed stacking molten projectile nova spin to win build.
