Path of Exile 2 Early Access |OT| An Exile like ARPG.

I was just logging in a bit ago when the server said they're restarting to update in two minutes 🫠

Tested out a bit of Helldivers 2 slimmed version and they really have optimized that game very nicely since launch.

I've been playing HL2 a lot lately with friends, runs so good now, had a perfect gaming session lately, espacially on Linux.

Anyways I'm gonna try PoE2 on free weekend with friends and see if I will buy it in early acess. Can't wait to try it out.

I haven't been able to hop back into d4 since last night but the issues I had for the time I spent with the new content was rough.

I'll play though the d4 season but I don't think it's going to be nearly as compelling as my Poison Ivy Druid 😈
 
Ice wolf feeling great. Love the rapid attacks of the base ability after I freeze a pack. Or finishing them off with the bear slam to see the beautiful effects.
 
Damn wolf-lad druid is fun. Spec Contagion in there and you've got ez early game clear.

The league mechanic is fun so far. Went into my first one with a white Nettle Talisman, came out with it rare with 5 mods, including +2 to melee skills. 2 ex drops.
 
RIP my access. I had an endless loading screen entering my first Vaal ruins and then got kicked, now I am stuck unable to load into the game. I'm guessing I am missing out on the Vaal ruin now or will the portal be waiting for me when I load in?

It should still be there. The servers are down for an update.

One of my feedback concerns that I sent them a while back was that exalts in the early game are way too valuable to waste on using them for what they're supposed to be used for. I suggested some kind of way to give the player some kind of quest item exalt orb that they have to use themselves and can't trade.

The Vaal workshop is a great way to achieve that design goal.

The whole time I was watching ZiggyD's Druid preview, I was thinking "gee he'd have a lot better clear if he had picked Herald of Ice".

I made sure to grab that one at Freythorn lol.

tried to get into this again today. Got about an hour in and quit again. It's the genre I think is just not for me, you basically just running around spamming the attacks while things blow up around you and not much else.

I did like the older blizzard games like this (daiblo) cause they at least had an interesting story where as this... hot garb.

I held off on starting a new character because I am waiting on the new season.
We'll see how far I get before I put it down. Last time it was level 93.

It's basically meaning I want to beat the game twice so I can do end game. I was even confused at first, when people were talking like this, but, now I understand.

Not sure when you last played but they added act 4 and 2 short episodes in 0.3 . No need to repeat the campaign twice anymore. Act 4 is top tier.
 
Yeah, Act 4 was shockingly amazing…I didn't expect that at all.

Speaking of shockingly amazing the Druid is the bees knees.

The smooth transitions between forms and spell casting feels so smooth and natural I have a hard time understanding how they have managed it so well.

last patch when I was playing my grenade build and I remembered thinking "they should add WASD movement to every arpg" the controls for the Druid are even better IMO.

Really impressive overall.

Wolf is good for speed and freezing. Bear is good for bear smash. You can easily use both at the same time. They are not necessarily separate forms as they are their own skills that are accompanied by a transformation.

Yeah I use pounce to walk faster. I'll try out the freeze ability
 
I made a new character in the hard core league. The character is a called PiuPiuAkka which is a traditional Finnish name for female archers.

Is the neogaf guild available on the hard core league or accessible once I most likely soon die?

If you are in hardcore you should have access to the guild stash. If you chose hardcore Solo Self Found typically that doesn't let you form a party with other players or trade with them.

I thought the guild stash was available in SSF as long as we have paid tabs which Rent already has set up.

If I am wrong they will let us know real quick 🤣.

My intention was to pick the basic hardcore league but I have to double check which I picked. I cannot access my normal league stash at least.

SSF is solo self found, you don't have access to anything you have not found yourself, so the stash and trading is off limits.

HC you can.

HC SSF is for the complete weirdos.
