PC gamers, what is your next purchase?

Burnout Legends for PSP. :lol

Far as PC goes, nothing's set me on fire. I'm going to look for older games I missed out on before - such as Syberia and Still Life. Just secured my original Quake last month...

After I upgrade my computer, I'll probably get Call of Duty II or Quake IV. Just got the Movies a week or two ago.

The games I look forward to in the next two years or so are Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, RtCW2, and Spore.

Half Life 1/2 :lol

Once I get a new graphics card, I'm going to get them. I have a GeForce FX 5200 right now, and the HL2 demo works fine for me, but I want to play the game as it's meant to be played. So, I'm going to get a GeForce 6600 I think.

A new console/video card/computer jokes go here.

I honestly can't think of a single upcoming title I really want. I'll probably get FEAR or Advent Rising before anything else.

Hellgate London or SW: Empires at War ... if theyre really on for Feb.

What?! Really?! If that's true, then that will most certainly be my next pc purchase. Otherwise I'm getting City of Villians.

Edit:

Hellgate isn't due then. It isn't even due next year, for that matter.

Boo'urns!

I just got The Movies this week. The next one? I know I'll buy the FF XI expansion for sure, but I may pick up something else before that.

The Movies when it drops in price.

Otherwise Half Life 2 Aftermath (WHEN IS THIS COMING OUT?) or perhaps SiN Episodes.

New PC... :( Quit pricey, but I'll have the biggest e-penis around

AMD X2 4800+ € 818,25
ASUS A8N-32 SLi Deluxe € 195,75
OCZ EL DDR PC-4800 Platinum € 367,00
XFX GeForce 7800 GTX 512 MB € 705,00
Creative X-Fi XtremeMusic € 102,77
OCZ PowerStream 520W € 139,00
Western Digital WD4000YR € 227,61

Current total: € 2.555,38

Dual Raptors will come from my current rig. CPU will be upgraded to a M2 chip - I'm eyeing that FX-60, different mobo will go along with that. RAM still needs to come out in the 2GB flavour and VGA card will be the fastest one around come June (when this purchase will be made.) either a GeForce 8800GTX or the ATi r580+. And I still need a new case :/

All for Supreme Commander :D

Im hoping The Witcher turns out well, although I have no idea when it'll come out. I hope my PC can run Obliv without melting through the floorboards. Maybe I'll finally get around to CoD2 in the meantime.

BF2 on TacticalGamer's excellent servers is taking up most of my PC gaming these days. When its played the right way with real squad tactics Battlefield is pretty much an unparalleled experience. Amazing game.

Special Ops is even more fun witha good squad. Support, Medic, Assault and Spec Ops are unbeatable. Gas grenades, zip lines, grappling hooks and revivals... Brilliant!!

Hooker, sod off. You make me feel poor =(
I reckon you have more money to spend than I do.

I'm going on a bread and water diet for the next 6 months :/ Along with a full-time job and a pretty expensive art-major. Besides, as it's 6 months away, I can dream about it :) I'll tell you what part of that dream has become an reality in 6 months :)

Just today I was thinking about buying the first Deus Ex off Gogamer. As long as I'm getting that, I may as well order some other stuff and save on shipping. Maybe F.E.A.R, Max Payne 2, maybe Baldur's Gate 2... though I see they're backordered on the one that comes with the expansion. I have no idea why I waited till after my hardware upgrade to get so many older games.

Age of Empires III is in the immediate plans, possibly before Christmas.

After that, no more PC games for me until Guild Wars Chapter 2 (better be really good or I'm done with GW forever - I already have stopped playing it), Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, and RtCW 2. The latter two I'm probably going to need to upgrade my PC for (I'm a max details, high framerate whore), so next fall a whole new system is in the plans. Good thing I've bought my 360 already and the Revolution will be dirt cheap (presumably).

Until the new system comes in a year, I'm going to spend my money on building up my 360 library most likely.

Sigh.. I've fallen out of love with PC games. The last one I played was FEAR, and I never finished that. Before that was Half Life 2. Can anyone recommend something to get me going again?

Nothing that's out yet. I just wait for something cool and get it. Probably Unreal 2007 or something. Don't know what else looks good. Maybe Oblivion if they speed up the pace (I thought the animation, slow walking speed, and clunkiness of Morrowind made it boring).

Which ever comes first:

Diablo III, Fallout 3, Baldur's Gate III, Neverwinter Nights 2, KotR 3, The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, StarCraft II, Sytem Shock 3, Ultima 10, etc.

I need to play KotR2, but I'm waiting for it to hit $20.

Last game I bought was Age of Empires 3.

The next game I will buy will be Oblivion.

I have a bit of a backlog anyway...:\ some oldskool games I need to complete.

I need to upgrade in a bad way, once that's done I'll get FEAR and X3: Reunion.

Next spring looks like Oblivion, Dreamfall and maybe SiN and HL2: Aftermath.

By May we should have Rise of Legends, Star Wars: Empire at War, Battle for Middle Earth II, Supreme Commander and maybe Prey.

Past that I'd say Hellgate: London, Neverwinter Nights 2, The Witcher, Gothic III, Titan Quest, Dragon Age, Spore, Alan Wake and Timeshift.

Yeah, PC gaming is really dead. *rolls eyes*

Rome Total War: Barbarian Expansion next game methinks. Maybe Sims 2.

Battlefield 2... i really need to stop playing the demo and go buy the full game :D

It will take over your life. Also there are better maps in the game anyway.

Hammer and Sickle is a turn-based RPG set in WWI (I think WWI). The demo's very slow and chunky and just all around lacking polish.

I thought it was after WWII.. it is by the silent storm team... and it has been pushed back one day for the last 3 days... driving me nuts

Damn, this is a good question. Probably Oblivion, assuming it comes out in spring.

I will wait to buy COD 2 when they release a decent expansion for it. The multiplayer seemed alot like vanilla COD 1 ... which I hated. United Offensive was awesome though!

Oblivion, Dragon Ages, Bioshock, Fallout 3, BG3 if it ever happens... Potentially nothing ever after those.

And make sure it's pci express. The later geforce cards with the extra molex required tend to fry easily. I've had two die on me so far - one on arrival, the other 3 months and 2 days after getting it. My third one hasn't arrived yet (stuck with rma replacements, not actually buying more of these garbage cards by choice).

WoW: Burning Crusade for sure. Maybe Hellgate London, Battle for Middle Earth 2, and Lord of the Rings MMORPG if they turn out good

Probably either SW Battlefront 2 or The Movies. My PC backlog's pretty awful - I finally got around to finishing Unreal II last night, which should give you an idea of how far behind I am. (My last save game was dated nearly two years ago to the day, which ought to tell you something.)

Was it painful? I have that game and never played past the second level. I remember getting it because I thought it had good graphics... worthless now.

Stargate: The Alliance if it ever gets released other then that nothing.

Maybe D&D Online. That is a very slim chance. Most likely a new copy of Grim Fandango since my old one is wack.

TRACKIR4-photo.jpg

Track IR Pro 4

Another amazing device that needs console support. Maybe EYEtoy 2?

whats a good pc game online shop for older games? (like grim fandigo, Baldurs Gate, etc) stuff u cant just walk into best buy and find anymore....
