PC Low Settings Screenshot Thread

Mount and Blade isn´t exactly a looker, but I´m surprised at how well it scales down.

This thread is making me nostalgic, pretty much how I played everything on my Radeon 9200SE and then Geforce 7300GS before I had an income. Those were dark times.

I know that feel. My pre-9800gt was torture and then the 9800gt was meh. GTX 580 is godly and my soontobepurchased 680 is going to kill some infant monkeys. But I still play BF3 on low sometimes because it's kind of fun...

Gonna use Picpar from now on...

Haha, I remember when I could only get a solid 30+ fps with these settings. I still forced it on med/high. Screw ugly.

Worth noting: Guild Wars would run on a late model Pentium III. The game engine was Spartan, but also extremely efficient.

This is the best thread. <3

In the same vein as the Doom III posts from a Voodoo 2 SLI rig, I took some screenshots of the early Doom III leak running on a Voodoo 5 AGP and PCI. On the AGP card, the internal SLI was broken, which is why there are alternating black bars. I realize the rules state "No editing config files", but this is a bit of a special case, if you ask me.

Some of these are actually not that bad. I wish I had my copy of Heavy Gear on me as that game looked fucking atrocious on low.
