9800pro
nforce 2 k7n2 delta mobo
500W PSU
2 120 gig samsung 8 meg hardrives (ide)



would this be a good combo to update it to 64 bit?

AMD Athlon 64 3400+, 1MB L2 Cache, 64-bit Processor - Retail

which mobo should I get on that link though (right column)

U should probably go with a Socket 939 setup, they have come down in price to just about equal to Socket 754 prices.

http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=19-103-463&depa=0 Same Model just a bit cheaper. Most reviews put them at 5-7% faster, but it differs from task to task. Dual Channel Memory is probably the biggest difference.

Your current setup is pretty good.

You should wait until there are some good PCI-E motherboards out for Athlon 64.

One from MSI using the nForce 4 is supposedly OUT, but wide availability should happen in December. If you are thinking about possibly doing SLI then an nForce 4 with that compatibility would be the way to go. Even so you can't go wrong with the new ATI Xpress 200 chipset that looks to be freaking AWESOME for the prices they will be at.
