People are streaming "shows" via PS4 twitch..

When are some gaffers gonna start streaming? Most of these folks seem like your average, pretty uninformed, gamers. It would be great to hear discussion of some of the current gaming related topics, rather than the banter that most of these channels feature.
 
I seriously hope we don't lose this shit before the new years.

Especially with half this thread egging on and bringing attention to each of these streams

According to the story she was passed out when he did it, that is far from creepy IMO, stripping a woman without consent (be it your wife or not) and then broadcasting he naked to the internet is worthy of jail time.

Dont be sad, from the glimpses I cought it was boring. I only tuned in when darckobra and the chill guy smoking weed got banned and luckily it got interesting then.

The prank call was great but would of been even better if the caller played more on the card that they had received multiple prank calls from his number and scare him that multiple squad cars are on the way. And the end of the stream... calling the FBI??? I do wonder if he will be back sober to comment on his actions. I wouldn't. But, I am happy they ended it for him before he really did something with repercussions.

In this case why not just fine him with idk 3 to 6 months of his earnings? That has to make a mark and make him to never pull a stunt again, but locking him up?!

It sounds like the guy sexually assaulted his wife in front of a live audience. It wouldn't be over the top if he got jail time, but I doubt anything actually happens to him. I think the wife would have to press charges, though I'm not entirely sure.

The bolded situation I consider different. But then again from what I have read she did try to advance until she went to the bathroom and came back completely wasted. In either case I believe there has to be solution/punishment that does not involve jail time (if this guy has no prior sexual assault charges). Jail time is just bad. Both for rehabilitation and integration into the society and I believe on your taxes. While a hefty fine could go a long way.

There is a thin line to walk on here, so maybe we should consider letting this out of the discussion.

I am not really familiar with the US legal system. If you think I am wrong I will stand down, and I do not wish to derail the thread. I really do not want to risk a ban.
 
For the guy stripping his unconscious wife totally naked on live-stream, what type of legal action are we potentially looking at here? Do we have any GAFfers on the force to break this down?

I don't know about anything of that but I do wonder if the wife ever finds out what really happened when she passed out. They mentioned they were together since they were 13. They are 30 and 31 now. Even had 1 or 2 kids.

Sad part is that stream was insanely entertaining for hours. They were really having fun. Yes, I had it on the background.

Yes. Some kid was playing earlier with her parents with comments disabled on PS4 and her dad monitoring the chat on PC Twitch. Was kinda cute.

e) Oh ok, I was wrong then. Never mind! Figured you could do that on PS4. That is eh... Really stupid.
 
You figure Sony had to anticipate some of this. I think they knew giving the YouTube commenter generation access to an HD camera and live-streaming capabilities was going to get worse before it got better. I doubt the Twitch app will disappear but they need way more security controls over this thing.
