I think they knew giving the YouTube commenter generation access to an HD camera and live-streaming capabilities was going to get worse before it got better. I doubt the Twitch app will disappear but they need way more security controls over this thing.

I'm sure they did, and there's no chance it will result in the functionality being removed. UNO on Xbox Live was basically a sea of cocks which would make Chat Roulette users cringe, nobody really cared.

It's not Sony's problem. This is purely a problem for Twitch. Anyone can go get a webcam and stream themselves and abuse Twitch's ToS. Doesn't mean people stop selling webcams because you might stream yourself whacking off.
