People are streaming "shows" via PS4 twitch..

Yeah there is a lot of funny stuff out there, however I can easily imagine this feature getting pulled when something really horrible or sick happens.

This post, I can't. Are you serious dude? We've been doing this stuff in the NeoGAF Tinychat for 3 years. We've had people, all sorts of ages, come in and use a webcam to broadcast. It's not rocket science. Just because you can do it via a PS4 doesn't make it revolutionary.

Exactly. Whenever I see people in this thread saying stuff like that it honestly confuses me. The masses can buy any webcam they want for cheap and broadcast themselves. It's not THAT new.

There are easier ways to broadcast via different outlets via PC and PC-like devices than someone going out and getting a PS4. Just because you can broadcast to Twitch and everyone in here is getting caught up in hype, doesn't mean anything. Playroom is bound to be shut down anyway, only a matter of time.

Wait but how is it more accessible? In both cases you have to go buy a webcam anyways. I'd go with it being more if it was packed in but it's not. Also you can even stream right from your phone so no it's not.

he has his girl google neogaf, but on neogaf everyone talks about tika his girl form yesterday. So thats not too smart lol
 
Oh Tom, we hardly knew ye.

I just joined this thread a few minutes ago. From what I can tell, Twitch chat alerted his GF that he might be seeing someone else? And then she started to put 2 and 2 together, and now he busted?
 
You know what makes The Playroom special? Accidental fame and infamy. People check out The Playroom, and the streaming feature, and anything that happens afterwards is anyone's guess. People that would never stream with proven traditional methods are now streaming on the fly, instantly.

Yes, it's gimmicky as hell. But it's fun, sometimes its really weird and messed up, but that's just how The Playroom rolls.

Differences are:

1. In the middle of their lives, straight from their living rooms
2. These people have NO computer skills, and are usually pretty naive about how people act on the internet.
