Well there isnt a limit to were you can put a webcam but sure i'll give you that.

Are you saying the early adopters have no computer skills? :O I still say a webcam isnt that hard to put together. Youtube has taught me that but eh alright.

Both of these are very important. You don't get a front seat view of naive people and their drama on web cams. You get internet drama, but nothing like this. lol
 
Joined one to a kid playing and all sort of crap being said on chat. Thankfully parents saw and decided to close that shit. Sony/twitch going to have something to do about this otherwise we won't be having such liberties.

Well, not really. All the Playroom channels taken together still had sub-10k viewers at their peak. The usual top 3 trifecta of games on Twitch (lol dota 2 sc2) have ~200k online right now.

Feels pretty weird seeing PS4 casuals "discover" the internet like this, guess us on GAF were farther ahead of the mainstream/casual curve with this stuff than I anticipated (considering online livestreams as normal, seeing web shows like this done before etc etc).

I tried to explain that to someone earlier it's not much new about the live web casting people have been doing this for years with Computes , Smartphones & Tablets now it's just on a Console.

But I will say this this is a little better because everyone has a standard HD camera with a wide viewing angle & some face tracking that's making the shows more entertaining because the people broadcasting don't have to sit close to the camera.

tbqh, yeah. I've met a lot of Gaffers and nothing surprises me, haha.

But in the NeoGAF Tinychat, we've had people come in that aren't Gaffers and remind me a lot of these users that are streaming. This stuff just doesn't phase me and while it's entertaining, I'm used to it. Maybe that's why I'm not freaking out about it.

Dude, what. The people broadcasting are usually ignorant to all the dumb and well known shit on the internet. Shoe on head is foreign, 4chan isn't in their vocabulary. Knowing these things isn't some sort of prideful achievement, but there is a clear difference and understanding if you know a lot of internet culture.

Off topic on NeoGaf are people that understand the internet and like the discourse/community present in that forum.

I am saying that the persons getting noticed are ones that are usually not out on forums, having only played Call of Duty on their consoles.

No one speaks of the other people.
