People are streaming "shows" via PS4 twitch..

Yeah, every Twitch channel is gone. There's still UStream, but there's nothing interesting on it.

No, they don't. It's weird you are perfectly ok with your sister exploring every nook of the internet but you just don't want her to stream. Maybe your parents should talk to her about not streaming herself out to the world in an inappropriate way? Just a thought. And if your parents just don't trust her at all they shouldn't fucking buy her a PS4.

Maybe its not about him trusting her but the amount of terrible comments she'll no doubt get. Also who knows how old his sister is.

Of course not. But you just bought the kid a camera. Maybe you should see what he's using it for first?

well the precedent is the kinect and i'm not sure that could be used like this. i wouldn't blame a parent for accidentally overlooking this. i didn't even know the ps4 could stream live footage until this "talk show" thread popped up.

We don't let her explore every nook of the internet. Her account on the pc has parental controls as well. Sometimes kids do stuff even if you tell them not too just to see what happens. Not saying I don't trust my sis and that she doesn't listen but just as an extra precaution. It will be my PS4 btw.

Back up now. But Twitch,MS and Sony needs to have a good discussion about this. This could be a PR disaster for all parts.

It's still working.

This guy is hilarious but I hope Sony doesn't get spooked by the stuff people are streaming. I can see them overreacting.

I think they're going to remove the Playroom streams fairly soon due to the lack of actual video game gameplay in many of the streams.

Should relocate to justin/ustream where non-gaming content is allowed.

Is it just me or does his nipples and belly button form a face?

Any females doing this?

There's a girl sitting on her bed with a laptop right now. Less than a tenth the viewers of the shirtless overweight guy.

Listen I get you. But kids doing stuff against their parents wishes is not something that you can just expect to be built in to every device built. The ultimate control is always in the parents hands of what they do and do not provide to their children.

If you feel their content is questionable, gear symbol below the video > report > choose the issue and add details/comment. Aside from that, we are moderating the streams to the best of our ability. And channel owners are responsible for moderating their own chat.

Why?, dont think anything bad could happen

I expect lonely gjrl fake actors stuff
You have drunk/high people streaming, and the chat giving suggestions. It will end badly, no doubt.

Also kids free to stream with the chat as toxic as the twitch chat?.. yea, I see a lot of problems.

I guess if they are using the virtual robots and stuff, they're technically "playing" Playroom.

It agree that this is definitely not actually gameplay, but it would be hard to close channels for this when you have streamers sitting at a menu and talking for 2 hours straight or people like Frag having cooking segments lol

It works for me when selecting channels from http://www.twitch.tv/directory/game/The%20Playroom/live. Counters don't show a significant decline, it works for quite a lot of people.

They just fixed it. And numbers didn't decline cause of the simple fact that as long as you stayed in the stream channel while it still worked, you wouldn't even notice it. Hell, I had the Giantbomb stream open while every other channel ( including the ones I follow ) didn't load up.

Ever think you would see a guy peeing in his sink on twitch?

The one with the kids was definitely gameplay.

I thought justin tv is where they redirect non gaming streams?

If I find the stream to be ok but the comments are not? Can I still report or is that streamers discretion?

Is she a modern day philosopher? This shirtless guy is a pontificating like a mofo.

Oh, I'm glad people are watching Hamburger.
