Man, I looooove the character animations in this. They're almost rotoscoped level of fluidity sometimes.
she do that in almost all area if you pay attention
Any chance this gets an anime series? P4 did, P3 even got some movies.
If you go into the bathroom while she's doing that you get a cutscenes where she just runs away.lol, up to palace 3 spoilers

True true, guys are more guilty of that than girls, that much I'll admit... there are plenty who don't know when to say no, or when to step back. Those guys are dicks. But at the same time, some perfectly innocuous, legal, behaviour can be blown grossly out of proportion by querulous individuals who label everything that they simply don't like as a 'micro-aggression' or harassment. It's hard to win sometimes, when the boundaries of acceptability are being pushed back further and further.
Is it any wonder that people are willing to get defensive about suggestive content within a game when they feel that the list of things that they're allowed to enjoy is getting smaller and smaller every day? I do feel that way. Hostile to any suggestions that anything in Persona should be toned down or changed to make others feel comfortable with something that I see zero issues with.

So was playing though the game and notice some cameos from Persona 4, it was about Chie and Yukiko. I saw both on the TV one ad was talking about a rising star female police officer who knew karate, and the other TV ad was talking about Amagi Inn and the beautiful owner who runs it. Now I'm going to pay attention more to the TV and surroundings to see if I see info about the other cast from P4.

if you're going to get riled up over people saying "Hey, this shit can feel predatory" please consider the feelings of people who are, in fact, preyed upon
Well, I guess it's a good thing the world doesn't revolve around you, then. Seriously, that's kind of a dick thing to say. If what you enjoy makes people uncomfortable, then maybe stop to question why it's making people uncomfortable. Examine your own actions instead of insisting that the problem lies with the person who's being hurt by what you're doing or saying.
I would like to think that if Ann was a buddy of yours, you wouldn't do that to her, and you would stand up for her if someone else did it.
I'm so mad that my fusion went so bad. I don't need nor want an Isis. Gimmie that black slime yo
The question is, how many people does it make uncomfortable? If the vast majority of women are offended by something, sure, then it's time to stop and think; if it's just a religious fundamentalist or a radfem, well, they get offended by a lot of things that I enjoy, so why bother?
Of course, that's just called being a decent person.
I saw a report on Rise
I read about a confession of a certain P4 culprit .
Ann is kind of confused, yeah I can see where her phantom thief self and persona are about reclaiming her sexuality, but there aren't many (if any) scenes where she's purposefully being sexy vs being ogled unknowingly.
I can't believe what I just fucking did. Death confidant spoilers:Pay 100k for SP-boosting accessory. Do no combat. Two weeks later level up so everything is half price. Have no fucking save since before end of third dungeon, two hours earlier.
Kill me.

I want to write a longer post on this, but I don't have time - however, I don't think that's necessarily true. There's plenty in her social link that suggests she actually does want to be seen as sexy - she's a model (which alone should tell you she's comfortable showing her attractiveness to the public), she talks about how her idols as a kid were sexy anime villains, she gets super competitive about trying to be hotter and more popular than Mika. When Ryuji gets excited at seeing her in a swimsuit, she laughs and puts her arm around him.
Like, there's a huge difference between "not wanting to be groped and stalked and" and "not wanting to be seen as sexy", and I feel like some of the discussion around Ann in this thread is conflating the two, or just ignoring certain aspects of her character.manipulated into statutory rape
i'm actually at the point where i'm annoyed at the story for getting in the way of my references to previous persona games lmao

I hope somebody compiles a list with screenshots of all the Persona 4 (and 3) references.
Rise is really hard to miss, you even get a poster of her to hang on your wall.

Anyone know a good guide for NG+? Gonna go for that plat on my second playtrough.
My wording wasn't that "she doesn't want to be sexy" for that reason. But there aren't any scenes that come to mind when I think of her purposefully trying to be sexy or display her sexuality in some form, vsIf there's something past the 4th Palance that changes that, I haven't gotten far enough to see it.having the camera go down her shirt and then we see it's the guys looking at her, or them looking at her legs peeking out from her yukata (kinda weird since she's always wearing short skirts and shorts, but maybe the yukata adds a different flavor) and having Morgana and Ryuji try to look up her skirt that one time she lied down on the couch. She gets understandably upset and annoyed when that happens, and I wouldn't consider it her trying to be sexy. The beach thing is fine (even thought Ryuji really needs to close his mouth before flies get in there lol), and I didn't complain about it.
This is fair enough. I'm mostly thinking about conversations earlier in the thread about her costume and animations and whatnot, and just kind of used your post as a jumping board. I'd agree that there's too many scenes where she is being sexualized by others or the camera rather than being deliberately sexy, but I don't think that the times when she herself acts sexy are out of character, is how I suppose I'd put it.
I would like to say that when people bring up these points, it's not to make others playing the game feel bad for liking the game or even the pervier moments. There's nothing wrong with cheesecake and sexy shots, necessarily, and I wouldn't try to change Senran Kagura or tell someone they're wrong for liking it (or remove all the sexiness from this game, even). The main problem is when the cheesecake gets in the way of creating a harmonious theme within the story. The messaging behind Ann is kind of confused, yeah I can see where her phantom thief self and persona are about reclaiming her sexuality, but there aren't many (if any) scenes where she's purposefully being sexy vs being ogled unknowingly.
It's not about making anyone feel bad (or about creating an environment where you feel like just chatting up a cute person IRL might be perceived as a micro-aggression), but just talking about incongruous things within the narrative, themes, and all that of the game.
You seem to have this idea that radical feminists are the only people who notice or take offence of this kinda stuff and have isolated their complaints to some specialist section of society in order to deligitimise their worries. So anyone who raises these concerns automatically is labelled a radical feminist and is therefore safe to ignore.
Maybe, just seems like society is going crazy, it's hard to tell sometimes who just wants an honest discussion and who wants to shove their particular ideology down your throat. But where would you draw the line between reasonable and frivolous complaints?

So, does Dungeonworks the same as previous ones, as in if I go in and finish it ASAP I will have free time or not? Considering the game blatantly warning me to finish up my Confidants, after all.7
