How many points do you need to rank up a trait? I've got points in Knowledge like 5 times but i'm still "Oblivious".
They shipped my PS3 version to 365games quite early apparently, as they sent it to me on friday and it arrived yesterday(monday) by air mail.
You'll miss nothing major though, judging from the first 5 hours I've played it so far.

Just a regular digital version. Pre-order bonus, maybe?

Today am tackling the second dungeon (while also developing my bonds with Tae). This one's theme is quite astonishing.
I would imagine high persona stats at least lower the damage taken, raise chances of evading etc?

I always have boost mode on, never turned it off. The game seems to run at a rock solid 30 FPS at all times, I would imagine it's the same for non boost mode in this case as well. It's a very artistically beautiful game, not exactly pushing Horizon style tech or high resolutions.
I do like how quick and snappy the load times are. Just for extra effect I'm running the game off of my USB SSD so the average load times aren't more than 3~ seconds.
English VO has been great so far so I think I'll be sticking to it even though I've downloaded the JP voice pack.
And here I thought finishing the first dungeon will happen quite soon within the tutorial, guess I was wrong as the king was shown so often. Well it's fine either way.
If you're playing on normal, he's quite doable at lvl 10 if you have good personas and equipment.

Would have normally gotten this digital but it's Persona 5, so I had to get a physical copy. Was too scared to use Amazon so I got a copy at Gamestop. Just a little under 5 hours before they open. The wait is killing me. Most anticipated game easily this gen.
Hahaha, what did they tell the english voice actors to do with the japanese names? "Just try to make them sound more japanese mkay."
They should've just stuck to the english accented pronounciation instead of butchering them even more. I mean it's fine, japanese butcher english names as well, only fair.

Hoooh, people actually found him to be difficult? I basically breezed past through him.
I bought all the best defensive armor and have the best melee weapon at that point tho, so I suppose that's why.
Use Tarunda/Rakunda, folks, they help, hehehe.

I always forget about using buffs/debuffs, I'm too obsessed with my SPs and hitting the weak point lol
Normal offers a fair amount of challenge, but you can always start on Hard and lower the difficulty later on

People that say buy the best equipment should give some early money farming tips because everything costs a fortune. Unless treasure loot gives enough money, which I haven't tried yet.

Same here. Although I won't even believe that until my TYH edition actually ships from Amazon. Just praying I actually end up getting it and they don't just end up cancelling the order cause they oversold.

So I've had a shitty start to the day. I've been relying on my brother to pre-order Persona 5, he was going to have his copy delivered to my house so I could try it out for a few days and see if I wanted to buy it but the idiot somehow pre-ordered the PS3 version.
I don't even know why I went along with his plan as I love both P3 and P4 so I should have just put the money down myself and pre-ordered it but it seems like it's too late now as it's all sold out online. I'm not getting the digital so I'm going hunting in town hoping to find a copy.
This is the last time I rely on other people to pre-order games, from now on if I'm interested in a game I'm just going to take the risk and buy it.
I'm on media blackout so I'm gonna bow out of this thread now but wish me luck :/

I want to know that for sure too, but in my experience you need to take them with you to the Velvet room, because I remember that I didn't get some in the compendium on my nearest visit.
