Believe me, I'm a huge fan of mixing silly in with dark. I enjoy that contrast and it can often make both sides better. I absolutely appreciate the balance in the series. I'm just saying that people who are watering at the mouth for this game to finally have a serious, grim dark story are probably going to be disappointed.

It's the same as people wanting P5 to be darker and in college.

I wanna say I'll lean toward Rise because I like that character more, but I also really love what they've done with Yukari.

Cant say I expected Yukari to come back as a power ranger but fuck what people say about the P3 designs, I think that choice is inspired. I think they made the P3 people appear larger than life and into some crazy shit on purpose where as the P4 people are all normal kids who are in over their heads with this situation, veterans vs noobies, I appreciate that dynamic.

Yep, NeoSoma proposed it here (kinda). I don't know if they would actively try to achieve that, but it could very well happen as a natural character evolution. It'd be great.

On a more positive note, at 25 hours, Shin Megami Tensei 1 for the iPad is finished. This marks the first actual SMT game I've ever gone through, after buying the others and never getting through them. :p
