I know Turnip is on Something Awful, and a few others are on Talking Time, but is IRC basically just functioning as the PersonaGAF Discord alternative?
Also, put me down as someone who's also going to miss Mediking.
Chat software that started as a way to talk to people you're playing games with, without having to bother with in-game chat. Now, though, it's robust enough to use just as a dedicated chat program, even if you don't play games.

I'll still be working on Persona Central along with Crimson (though I'm probably gonna be needing more help soon enough).
Until any proper community is settled someplace else, there's the Persona Discord channel that I'll be looking into from time to time (I don't have the authority to send any invites on it).
There's the IRC channel, which I'll probably be lurking more than before.

I'm staying because this shit is like the Wild fucking West all over again. The nihilist in me is getting a kick out of it.
This place's reputation is nearly unsalvageable, but I at least hope the community stays. The up-to-the-minute gaming news is really appealing to me.

Just passing through to say many people are jumping ship and there's only a handful of them where most of the community is trying to regroup. Waypoint is one, but there's another in the works but isn't active yet.

I lurked here rather than participate ( I was a regular on the IRC a few years ago, but life stuff got in the way and I didn't spend as much time on online forums anymore) but as things kind of fall apart I just wanted to chime in that yall are a cool bunch and Persona is an awesome franchise.
