Alt-right took advantage of the situation but I don't feel like you can say don't say gamers because non-whites would never. Gamer gate was largely about misogyny and that's not strictly along racial lines. I hear many slurs from all races online, bigoted and sexist. It's definitely a gamer culture thing being targeted. And you know, JonTron. You may have separate issues within gaming effecting different groups and being targeted for different reasons, but "gamer culture" as a whole right now?
