Some of y'all need Jesus in your life.

With the internet making fun of religion and how science and technology facts>faith and belief, this generation is so full of apathy.
You can accept hard cold knowledge while acknowledging that faith is something else that allows humans to continue to put their heart and belief into it.

Growing up in a religious household allows me to connect with people and showing empathy to them, and being respectful to other and treating them fairly.
Sure, you don't need religion to be a good person.
But it helps due to the routine teaching and the everyday community you are always interacting with.

However, the internet and technology have disconnected us in real life.
Most of us rarely go to Sunday Church or religious events, we stay at home.
We don't even interact with other humans unless they are our family and co-workers. Even if we do interact, we stare at our cellphone most of the time.
Watching Netflix, HBO, NFL, playing games on console/pc and just simply enjoying the digital lifestyle.
So many of ours youths just go online to troll and being respectful to people by creating endless racist memes.

There are trolls, racists, and bigots of every religion and atheists. Religion ain't gonna automatically you a better person.

I don't think people need religion to fix that. But you are right that too many young people are constantly online these days, being exposed to the most toxic stuff, and that just isn't a good environment to put a kid in.

When I was growing up, the internet was slow, you didn't have such open communication like social media right now, and forums were mostly moderated to some point at least. You had to seek out the real toxic stuff. Now you have your kid watch a few Minecraft videos and next thing they are at a video with the most racist and disgusting things being put out there. Sometimes by the same person even it seems.

GAF is going to GAF I guess, I shouldn't even say anything because if I said so I will be treated as "racist piece of crap"
Well, if you think you are going to be seen as racist, you'd probably want to think about that and see if the opinion you have might be racist to some extend.

I guess this explains why all these nice church goers elected a president so full of empathy.

Have Game Grumps post Jon done anythign controversial at all? Hell, Dan seems like a wholesome dude, have i missed something?

I don't think so, and I watch them a lot. Sexually they seem to be really progressive, so nothing homophobe at all. Apparently Arin asks everyone involved to not talk about politics during the videos, but everytime they hinted about it they definitely didn't see pro Trump during this election. And at most Dan jokes about jews sometimes, but he's jewish and his father is Israeli :P

Yeah man Jesus is right there with Dunkey and OneyNG on the list of people who have done some bad shit but are probably still okay deep down.

Tell that to the religious right, there the ones fucking it up for everyone.

Probably because your opinion is one reminiscent of a person who'd be called a racist piece of crap, because there is no middle ground here.

10/10.
Out of all the account suicides in this thread yours is the best.

I hope this is a fake account, but I doubt it.
He retweets "Some black guy" and openly rocks a fucked up hairline. I don't take black men with those qualities serious on race issues

Growing up in a religious household can also turn you into an intolerant asshat.

No one needs faith to not be a dick. Just don't be a dick.

130 pages, and still out come the drive by alts trying to defend this.

What is the whole point of it? Bragging rights on their 'main' forums that support PDP?

GAF is going to GAF I guess, I shouldn't even say anything because if I said so I will be treated as "racist piece of crap"
If you're not in the business of trying to defend or excuse the use of the N word in anger to insult somebody, you should have nothing to worry about.

I don't understand what posts like these accomplish except account suicide

If really feel like it's your God given duty to defend the use of the N word there are like ten million other forums on the internet where you can do that

I remember him citing the Bechdel test in regards to games and pissing off a lot of people in the comments.

Pretty nice feeling to see the list of decent gamer Youtubers is decently big.

I think this is a joke but yeah no. I need less religion, growing up in a country where they assaulted young boys, silently buried dead children so they didn't have to explain their deaths and kept women in practical prisons for years.

There is only really 2 sides here. I think its fine to say someone is a fucking nigger or I dont. Like what are you so afraid of?

This is so cowardly

Were people surprised OneyNG/Chris O'Neil had some dirt a few pages back? I thought it was well known that that whole Youtube animator clique thrives on edge-lord shock jock humor.

134 pages already? and there is another thread at offtopic !
god damn it, PDP is like love or hate subject here at gaf

ps: I AM NOT supporting pewdewpie, I am just saying that a lot of people still follow him. I don't even watch the dude and I find his remarks deplorable

Where did that come from?!

On topic - I used to defend PDP after the whole WSJ thing - but this... just suggests something far more deep-rooted and concerning. I don't think anyone can legitimately say those slurs these days and actually get away with it - especially outside of an implied "comedy" situation.

That being said, this has all been said before. Fuck PDP now - he's bombing his own channel and although I don't know when he recorded his most recent "streaming fail" video, his little jab at the start about him "ending up on here eventually" seemed too...baited if that makes sense?

GAF is going to GAF I guess, I shouldn't even say anything because if I said so I will be treated as "racist piece of crap"
Being a coward isn't a good looking position either. Say whatever you have to say or fuck off with "I can't speak my true feelings!"

This...sure is a post

Atheism doesn't turn people into amoral scumbags

I didn't say.
I am just saying this generation youths are mostly apathize to other's cause due the disconnecting digital lifestyle.

There are trolls, racists, and bigots of every religion and atheists. Religion ain't gonna automatically you a better person.

I know.
I said that in my post.....????
I am just saying, that it is easier to connect with other based on our community.
I interact with my faith group every Sunday. We help out.
But this generation, most of us are just online. Rarely face to face, speaking to each other and understanding the political and social impact of ours action and word.

I think this is a joke but yeah no. I need less religion, growing up in a country where they assaulted young boys, silently buried dead children so they didn't have to explain their deaths and kept women in practical prisons for years.

Sigh...Kinda expected this when faith is involved.
Does it mean everyone that believes in their faith does this kind of thing?
Come on man...................come on.
All I were saying that some of us need religious so we can become a better person by interacting with our community and supporting the teaching of helping out other and empathize with people in need and their cause.

Considering basically every news channel worldwide is covering this, it shows how mainstream these Youtube celebrities can be. It's basically the same as a major Hollywood star going on a racist rant.

GAF is going to GAF I guess, I shouldn't even say anything because if I said so I will be treated as "racist piece of crap"

So you're telling us you're a racist piece of crap but not coming out directly as one? 🤔
GAF has no place for racism, it's simple as that dude. If you have opinions that don't suit the site, then you will be shown the door.

Guys! I have an opinion that I think people won't like, but you all don't like anything so I'll keep my opinions to myself. Not gonna tell you what I think about this situation but mannnnnnnn you guys will hate just about anything that's said here, amiright or amirox?1!1!1!1!1!111one

I dunno, back when the Yooka Laylee devs dropped JonTron from their game he wrote a tweet supporting him. I loved his stuff but I stopped watching them because I don't wanna support someone who might sympathize with racists.
He didn't really support him, all he said was that he didn't really see the point

I didn't say.

Because Christianity has always been about bettering other's causes and not using that merely as a front to take advantage of underserved people.

Jesus ain't the answer and never will be. Education is.

Even SBF is on "both sides"?

To be specific, they just take a hard unwritten apolitical stance.

I remember this one Super Best Friendcast episode published after the US election, they had Steve and Kenny from YoVideogames as guests. Kenny made a not-so-subtle jab at Donald Drumpf as the show was wrapping up. What followed was an awkward pause followed by Woolie loudly saying "politics!" in a jokey way of ending that conversation. I forgot what was said after but that moment always rubbed me the wrong way.

I don't doubt that the Best Friends don't have a good head on their shoulders, but their apolitical stance gets a little draining at times even if it was for good intentions. Their fanbase is also full of toxic weebs too so so much for that. They need to chill with the Jojo references in the comments too. No not everything is actually Dio or the work of an enemy stand.

No. Dunkey went on a "faggot" tirade around the same time Pewdiepie did his Nazi shit, back in March 2017.

None of these edgelords ever fess up to an apology, cause they don't want to seem weak or whatever to their other edgelord pals.

Welp.

Fuck him too.

I laugh my ass off at a number of his videos. Won't be watching that crap anymore.
