First of all, I know GAF isn't a classified service, but I saw all the help Scrow got in this topic and realized GAF would be a good place to ask.
Anyway, I'm looking for a PHP programmer for a paid project. As I don't program myself I'm not really able to estimate the amount of time it would take or how big of a coding undertaking it would be. I can say that what I need built is a backend/infastructure for an entire website, with the majority of that website being user driven/dynamic. So I'd guess it'd be pretty big.
Financial compensation is negotiable after we have some meetings and are on the same page regarding specifically how much work is needed. That being said, this is a personally funded project... not corp. funded. I've set aside a decent amount of money for this, but it wouldn't be enough $ to support someone, I would guess.
The more knowledge of the gaming industry the better, but if you've gotten out of games (as I know much of OT has), then that's ok. Anyone posting on GAF surely knows enough.
As for level of knowledge required, again, I don't code myself so I can't say for certain. I've ran this by some of my friends who know some PHP and they've all told me it was beyond them, so it sounds like someone with a bare minimum of a moderate amount of experience is needed... possibly someone with a lot of skill.
So anyway, if you consider yourself very good with PHP, have time for an extra project and want to earn some extra dollars, PLEASE PM me
