You couldn't get that view on the ISS. Madagascar to Norway? lol

Yeah lol. Mt. Everest eat your heart out. This mountain in Southern Africa goes into outer space and has green grass growing still. Still a cool pic though.

Should have explained, sorry - that's the point of the picture. It's obviously not real, but instead an example of what the earth would look like if there was a mountain that reached space.

The should have just photoshopped Earth on a small ringworld's (small gives sharper curvature like in the pic) surface.

(those holes on the leg are for breathing btw)

The picture itself is not cool, but this harvestman was able to conquer mostly cold regions in the alps by stop having sex (because there's not enough time)
In these areas, the females simply lay a bunch of unfertilized eggs which then hatch.

Basically, she produces a ton of perfect clones of herself to survive.

Some Aphid species are also kinda like video game bug monsters:

They give LIVE birth to their own clones which in return also very soon give birth to more clones.

(they do that during summer, then produce normal eggs for the winter)

Very cool. So what do you call this sort of asexual reproduction method?

Thanks for sharing, some beautiful work.

Beautiful.

Source or artist please ?

Reverse image search showed it as a series by Katerina Plotnikova. More can be seen on her 500px profile here, including these:

Love a soft atmosphere.

1) Photo by Mary Robinson of her younger sister, taken with a Canon AE-1. 2) Ingrid Endel 'Resilience', from My Body Is My Canvas series. 3) Elliot Erwitt. New York City skyline. 4) Mark Shaw. Early black and white studio series outtake (New York, 1950).

And just because it says 'cool', Matt Feddersen's shoot for Papercut magazine (looks like a young Alec Baldwin).
