The price tag on the left is for a different (not pictured) doll wearing a dog hat and shirt. The doll you see on the left is the same model as the doll (and price tag) on the right.

While this is "funny" it is either staged or just a doll in the wrong slot on the shelf.

Or maybe her parents just let her? To me (a parent of 2) a school photo is a snapshot in time and captures not only how they look, but also their sense of self at the time.
It is funny to look at their old yearbooks and see just when certain things happened (like when my daughter ended her dress in pink phase to her current, feeling out what clicks for her phase.
Plus it's like blackmail material. If you don't do X I might have to show <boyfriend who is not yet 6 feet under> your photo from x grade.

My guess aimed at finding a link between the pic and freefornow caption.
I agree with you tho, and i'd rather have it being a case of "let your children make their own (small) mistakes" more than a "bribe your children so they have fucked up morals forever" type of situation.
