Men in the 1700s: "Liberty must at all hazards be supported. We have a right to it, derived from our Maker. But if we had not, our fathers have earned and bought it for us, at the expense of their ease, their estates, their pleasure, and their blood."

Men in the 1800s: "... to the support of the Constitution and Laws, let every American pledge his life, his property, and his sacred honor."

Men in the 1900s: "Government's first duty is to protect the people, not run their lives."

Men in the 2000s: "HA! EsPn UsEs ThE sAmE lEtTeRs As PeNiS!1!1"

extenders are shit.

if you need one then your router is shit. stop using the one your ISP gave you and buy a proper one then put your ISP box into modem mode then hook the router up to it through ethernet. most wifi 5-6 routers are enough for the average home. if you live in a fuck off big house then there is wifi 7. you shouldn't need an extender in most cases. the problem is the crappy ISP router has shit range. if you want to create an extendable network then you should get a mesh set up. there are good mesh networks but they are not cheap.

this is what i do. ISP box is in modem mode. it's connected by ethernet to my Asus router which is right in the middle of my house for optimal coverage. i then have another ethernet cable running upstairs directly to my PC. everything else is on WiFi.

when i used the ISP box as a router signal would keep cutting out in the bedroom. with the asus router i'm still connected in the garden and even in my car.

even if it was actually an extender it has USB lol. those should have a normal power socket and the only thing you plug in would be ethernet cable.

anyone buying that crap off temu deserves all they get.

Depends on the size of your house. Extenders are old tech, mesh sets are better. I set my house up with Decos. A single router like a nighthawk would cover a decent amount of my house, but it wouldn't do the yard
