The TAS comic was fucking great. All 3 versions. Captured the tone, writing, and obviously art of the series perfectly. The endings for all the villains that never got mentioned after JL/U were so good.
Ivy turned green and people thought she was sick until one day she molted and died. But the truth was she had skipped town a year before and created a plant based version of her because she didn't want to make Harley sad and lonely. She was working in a lab somewhere with mother fucking SWAMP THING. She went legit.
Clayface lost a role in the remake of The Gray Ghost and ended up mixed with concrete in front of the theater while shaped as the Ghost.
Penguin went legit and became mayor, banned Bats, but it turns out Clock King had rigged the results and he was almost last in the results.
Mr. Freeze turned into the head you saw in Batman Beyond.
It was really good. Had a weird Superman/Lex issue that came well before both JL and Superman TAS, so it doesn't really fit, but I highly recommend any fans of the TAS to look up Batman Adventures, Batman + Robin Adventures, and Gotham Adventures. They're awesome. I wish the JL/JLU Adventures weren't so hard to get a hold of.
