Looked good I suppose; definitely not as good as the DMC trailer last year, which was just awesome. But it's Jack Sparrow so I can't complain. I still couldn't help smile at even the meh things he said in the trailer. This should be fun. It looks more over the top than ever, but this time more relevent. An all out pirate war for survival sounds more awesome and worthwhile than being chased around by savages on an island. And that sword fight was great - VERY impressive CG

Day one no doubt. And this time let's hope our MICHIGAN GAF MEETUP doesn't get ruined like last year.

just watched the trailer. for the first half of it i wasn't impressed, but the last half i enjoyed. the battles in this movie so far look good, but it seems like the story is still going to be boring. i really hope this movie is better than Dead Man's Chest, i don't want to be disappointed again.

I really can't get where people come from thinking it was exciting the whole way through. It had some great scenes, but there was an hour too much movie in there.

Just so I don't feel like a troll, I do love everything else about the movie. The effects are great and both movies have incredible scores.

Can't wait. POTC2 was so much better than POTC1, in every way. Haters be damned. It's a very well paced, non stop action adventure extravaganza. Is it extremely shallow? Hell yes. Is it weak when compared to other great sequels like Empire Strikes Back? Hell yes. But it's still damn awesome.

The entire part at the beginning on the island wasn't needed at all.

But who ****in' CARES? It was fun as hell, entertaining the whole way through, and absolutely the best way to spend 2+ hours on a Friday night with some friends.
