The best you'll ever get is the first one one you'll never see the other 2 legally. The IP belongs to sega but it's upto nintendo on what platform the other ones they paid for are publishedHopefully a proper 4K/60fps PS5/PC Remaster of the trilogy.
Otherwise who cares
Maybe a remastered trilogy on Switch 2. I know a lot of people think they know what to expect of the hardware based on leaks, but I feel like you can't ever really know what a console is capable based on specs alone. Might be enough to at least get a prettier version of Bayonetta 3. That looked rough on Switch. Which is weird, cuz 1 and 2 still look pretty to me.The best you'll ever get is the first one one you'll never see the other 2 legally. I mean you say that but just like Hideo Kojima buying Death Stranding IP back from Sony, IP ownership changes. Publishing rights also change and expire. So its possible Nintendo is done with it, so who knows. The best you'll ever get is the first one one you'll never see the other 2 legally. Yeah that can be true in some cases, it's a bit more complicated with bayonetta due to the fact Nintendo financed the 2nd & 3rd games. Without them the game as a series would have died at the first game as both Sony & Microsoft were not interested when platinum approached them only Nintendo said yes. Nobody knows if Nintendo are done with bayonetta but going by past history they aren't exactly known for giving games to a competitors platform. Nothing though to stop platinum/Sega making bayonetta 4 on a non nintendo system they own the ip fully however for 2&3 Nintendo still has total control over which systems they will publish them on due to it been basically all paid for by them.I mean you say that but just like Hideo Kojima buying Death Stranding IP back from Sony, IP ownership changes. I would not say bad but kinda disappointing. Gameplay was great, story was trash. I still like it more than 1.The third game was pretty bad btw so if you never played it you never missed out.
I second this. Better game than the first one. The second game is the pinnacle. Like many other franchises ie….Halo, Uncharted, Resident Evil, Street fighter, Mass Effect, etc.I would not say bad but kinda disappointing. Gameplay was great, story was trash. I still like it more than 1.
Bayonetta x Naughty Dog?
I mean its the same situation. Sony owned Death Stranding, were the publisher, funded dev. Still sold it back to the Developer. Actually its less complicated for Bayo, Nintendo could easily sell or relinquish publishing rights especially if there's no plans going forward and with how poor sales have been for the franchise I cant see them fighting to hold on to it.Yeah that can be true in some cases, it's a bit more complicated with bayonetta due to the fact Nintendo financed the 2nd & 3rd games. Maybe platinum will buy back the publishing rights so they can get it on more systems, who knows.
