Agreed. Hard to fathom the same person wrote Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and Predators.

That's Shane black for you. The trailer can be loaded with promise. But every movie he directs these days, seems like a swing that could go either way

Tough guy dialogue and smart comments he can handle. I also think this the Parker from the novels and that movie payback. So it is looking well in his wheelhouse.

So there is promise. But marky marky is a big no in my book (other than boogie nights, ted and weirdly shooter). Will add it to the maybe list

He wrote predator and predators, essentially the most hit and miss you can be.
