I'll upload a video later today. Long story short: the counter said there were five people left, but in reality there were still six.
Was it a team game mode?
I think, at least in Duo, it counts teams. So the two players as 1 so even if 2 is displayed there could be up to 4 players still alive if both teams are at full strength. I wonder if it's similar in squad mode.
Had my first squad session today
This game is crushing my spirit
Any tips to make sound less broken?
Have devs said anything about 1st person mode only?

10 minutes into the GB quick look and already I love the idea of this game and it looks good too.
OP seems promising for the game.
I'm going to keep watching and read the comments here but I want this.
I'm just worried about the number of players it will have in the future. I don't want big empty maps or 20 minute queuing. It's not f2p, and not all that cheap either and is early access (though it looks great).
Thoughts?
The only way I can see that happening is if they break the game with updates. It's extremely popular and playable already, and people have been playing this "Battle Royale" style game/mod for a while now, so I don't think you have to worry very much about dwindling popularity. I mean, you're getting 90+ players for a game and there's essentially no wait time when you start game.
That's good to hear it's so fast.
It is only 3 weeks old though, the smart thing to do would might be to wait a little longer (got a lot to play atm too)... but I'm going to keep watching this video and see if I can resist.
I always turn my sound way down for the spawn screen and jump, then turn it waaayyyyy up when I land. Helps hear footsteps.
I believe they rolled back the patch that fixed some of the sound culling they broke with the last patch.
Yeah, i just read about the rollbacked patch, hope it fixes most of those stuff.Broken how? I saw in the patch notes they were looking at doing something with footsteps and doors. I'm also fairly certain they will allow first-person only servers at some point. A lot of people prefer to play that way.
The only sound real sound issue I've had is some cracking if I'm standing in the middle of the red zone, which only happens in this game and in those areas.

Generally the sound is really confusing, the ambient is too loud, the directional sound is not always correct, the grenades do not sound loud enough and when you do not hear a friend walking right next to you in the building something is off
Also the planes are way too loud in comparison to everything else.
That was a stupid fun set of games. Didn't do a whole lot minus nicking a few folks with a pistol and item collection but still! Getting the hang of it slowly!
The nature of the game also means that you don't need many people to make matching work properly. There's essentially no skill matching and people are constantly getting kicked out of games when they die and can fill up new games.
That makes sense.
I thought the price was £36.99, £26.99 is pretty good.
I'm in
Sometimes I dont even know.

How do you like my driving?

So what's the consensus on this? Is it the best one of these so far? I've watch people play mods and the H1Z1 survival mode but they always seemed jank.
I'm seeing a lot of people into this, but I can't tell if it's because it's actually good or because it's just the new streamer hotness. The Early Access label is almost always a no go for me
As someone that played a lot of the Arma 3 Battle Royale mod and hated h1z1 - this is the best way to battle royale. So what's the consensus on this? Is it the best one of these so far? I've watch people play mods and the H1Z1 survival mode but they always seemed jank.

I got 9th by sticking in a boat for a good chunk of the game, including some very dicey parts of almost being spotted near the end. It's a ton of god damn fun. Solo queue feels like it can be as dumb or as serious as you want to make it. That round was me mostly goofing off, previous round I opted to jump to where I saw the most amount of people jump off and start fist fighting as many as I could until I got a gun to blow them away. Kept jumping right back in for more, it's super addicting and fun.

My first win! All shotgun kills too. Managed to heal up from almost dead four times. It would be cool if you got to keep whatever cosmetic items you were wearing when you win.
