I only ever got to Act 2 on DOS2 and it was good, I might try and convince my wife to play through it with me at some point. I wish they would have done away with the physical and magic armour though. It made fights drag on for so fucking long.

What does this play like? I never have it a shot but after BG3 I'll definitely try it.
There's major overlapping DNA. BG3 has way bigger budget for cinematics and set pieces. Turn-based combat and especially the simulation features will be familiar. The quality of conversation writing & choices are similar. You can't pull the camera in as tight in 3rd person as BG3 while exploring, so it has a more decisively isometric feel.

Question... what happened with the first Divinity: Original Sin? For some reason, its super hard to find. And on PSN,last time I checked, it was a whopping $220!!
Did something happen with licensing?

On PSN for digital? I see it for $39.99 right now. Also seeing people saying that it never goes on sale. Although I'm surprised I'm not seeing the bundle of 1 and 2 that's on Steam and Xbox.

Sorry, by PSN, I mean digital. I've actually never seen the physical copy for sale at the stores before.
I was looking for a new D&D type game to play and decided on Divinity: Original Sin. And for whatever reason, only the second one was available for purchase at regular price. The first Original Sin was over $200!. I'm trying to recall what year this was, in case others may have seen this as well... I think it was late 2021 or early 2022..

That's cool I'll have to pick it up!

Charging for a patch. More BS from this studio. Surprised its not $80. Guess they couldnt wait for GTA6.

HOLY SHIT!!!! FUCK YES!!!!

Yall out here complaining about charging for a patch!!! Hahahaha!!!

What do you we buy? Remakes and remasters.

Games are legend. Will always buy DOS2 on the latest console it is available on and you know what, if I spend 200 dollars on DOS2 in my lifetime, I'd be PROUD. Not trying to figure out a way to save money on the best fucking games of all time and complaining that they "charge for it" how dare they charge for their work on the goat? How dare they?
