Playstation GAF, what was your first Platinum Trophy?

Unless my memeory is wrong it probably was BURNOUT PARADISE

"Welcome to paradise city"

But it was only when i did infamous 1 that i realised that i should only try to plat the game i really enjoyed.

Gravity Rush.

inFamous

Printed out a blast shard map and meticulously went around the island collecting them 1 by 1 as I crossed them out. Had another friend that was short 1 shard when he did it and didn't want to make the same mistake.
That's what I did for my Infamous platinum as well. Didn't collect any during the actual game, then printed the map when I beat the game and crossed them out as I collected them.

Demon's Souls, 3 of them (USA, Europe and Asian versions) and the only other one I have is Dark Souls (soon to be Dark Souls 2 as well).

Uncharted. I had played thru the game twice before, and played thru it twice more right after the trophy patch was released in August 2008.

X-COM!

My one and only. No other game has compelled me to go through all the trophies. I'm content with finishing them on Hard, the rest feels like a chore.

God of War Ascension. That whole trial section at the end took me a little while on the highest difficulty though.

Walking Dead Season 1 (LOL). I really need to play my Ps3 more... And why couldn't they patch in trophies for Valkyria? (absolute favorite Sony exclusive for me!)

Telltale's The Walking Dead season 1. What an accomplishment it was. I had to play the game all the way through! Say what you want about progress checking trophies, but you do have to leisurely play through enjoyable games. Such a tough plat.

I'm working on MGS4, almost there... Already have the Big Boss Emblem, now I just need to do the extra playthroughs for all the emblems.

Same for me.

I came extremely close with Uncharted 1 though. Seems like I was only missing a trophy or two.

Ha, learned that as well. Started a few game a few years ago that I didn't like simply because I *could* get the platinum. Was stupid on my part.

Hmm, I can't remember honestly. It was either Uncharted 2 or Final Fantasy XIII. Pretty sure it was Uncharted 2 since it came out first, though.

Shadows of the damned, I don't even know why I bothered actually? it required 3 or 4 playthroughs because the difficulty trophies didn't stack and I got bored of the game a few hours in, never tried to get a platinum since, probably scarred me for life!

the tits probably kept me going

Uncharted. Then it took until Uncharted 2 before I got my second one. My third was... you guessed it, Uncharted 3! There are no crazy trophy requirements in those games, and I liked them enough to put in the time to get the "kill X enemies with weapon Y" and similar trophies, which I usually don't feel like doing. The hardest trophy in all of those games was probably the one for beating UC1 on Crushing. That was brutal at times, and it felt so damn good to finally get it. UC2 and 3 weren't nearly as difficult.

That was my last platinum until the PS4 released and I got my fourth in the wonderful Resogun.

Heavy Rain was mine, I like the game a lot and wanted to see the other endings so it just made sense. Super Stardust would have been my first if it had a platinum. Other than that I think my only other two are Okami HD and Resogun

Tekken Tag Tournament HD

Fortunately most Namco fighting games do not require more than 30 online games for getting a platinum, that's why I also platinumed Tekken 6, TTT2 and Soul Calibur 2 HD.

My first and only one is Guacamelee.
I tend to do everything in games i like, to complete every side quest/mission and to find most secret i can, but most of the time i don't even look the trophy list so i always miss lot of them.

My very first one was Uncharted. However, still being new to the system I didn't realize they had to synch with the server. After beating the game I saw a commercial for the Infamous bundle at Best Buy. My genius self realized I had a 2 year replacement on my ps3 from Best Buy and proceeded to box it up and drive to the store. I then proceeded to tell the clerk my system kept freezing and I wanted to trade it in for another. Well, the 100 price cut had recently occurred so I got to trade it for the infamous (and I believe killzone) addition and got 100 in store credit. I laughed as i drove home with a new ps3 and 2 new games and 100 dollar BB gift card for my uncharted bundle and thinking I was so slick...

Well, hooked it up and signed in and noticed that my platinum, dynamite and crushing trophies were gone. It took me an hour or so to realize that I had unplugged and returned the last system without syncing my trophy list. To this day I am still missing those three trophys. Goddamn young self.

EDIT: Since, I have plats in both Infamous games with 100% in Festival, Modern Warfare, Terminator Salvation and Uncharted (just can't prove it)

Guacamelee. I beat the game and immediately started a new game on hard. Then it was just a matter of finding a few hard-to-reach chests and orbs. I had to use a Youtube vid to find 2 of the orbs though, the one involved a switch opening a small discolored ground tile in the ground so fricken far away I would've never of put two and two together.

I might get Resogun's, not sure. Most of the trophies are pretty reasonable. So many games have trophies where you have to do something stupid or colect a billion things so I don't end up doing it.

Burnout Paradise. I make it a point to get platinums for games that I genuinely love and/or are devoted to.

Pulled this from PSNProfiles for myself.
