After looking at Watchdogs; even if its in the lower side of the spectrum, I'd suggest visual acuity and modeling shouldn't be the concern. The real thing is optimization and art direction and that too is subjective.
Example: I love the dark and dreary style of Killzone 2. But didn't like Killzone 3 because of the absence of this art style.

There's no way a console CoD title is going to debut on the PS4. We'll be lucky to even see footage of it running on that platform before its release.

Totally agree. The thing that impressed me about Watch Dogs wasn't the character detail or the lighting, it was the fact that all relevant objects in the scene acted properly, his coat moved properly, the framerate never dropped, the IQ was great, movement and action was smooth.
I'd be plenty happy if the future was games looked somewhat better (not a quantum leap) but that this became the "smooth" generation. Solid framerates, loss of clipping, z-fighting etc.
The PS Vita COD would like to say "Hi". Do you remember the slew of this gen games PS3 didn't get because of the delay? Like Maybe COD 2 and Ace Combat being some?

They should call it PS4 and only release games that have a 4 in the title kind of like what Nintendo did with the n64 (mario 64, starfox 64, etc.)

That's why I said console. MS has spent this entire generation trying to get people to associate CoD with the Xbox brand. Why would that suddenly change next-gen? CoD is still a massive name even if the games are selling slightly less than they once did. I just can't see Activision showing off the next CoD during a Sony show.

COD went downhill instantly when activision there out the main infinity ward guys. Other than casuals who fucking cares about COD. That's the last thing I would want to see at the conference.

I'm talking about something from the meeting leaking out.
Well, for a leak to happen from Sony themselves, they really need to fuck up. In today's media climate, you really don't need to provide information to any news outlet what so ever, before a meeting like this. Just look at the Youtube teaser for the meeting; six million views. Everything will spread like wildfire as soon as it's showed as this meeting to due things like social media.
I doubt it but we'll see.

My wish list for the 20th:
1) PS4 reveal + games + controller redesign. This is all but confirmed
2) Vita refresh + games. With that recent rumour thread, I suppose it could happen
3) Gaikai in its current form. If it plays a large role in the future of Playstation services and Sony services as a whole, it's possible it will be shown
4) Oculus Rift compatability or Sonys equivelant. Not likely, but it's a wish list
5) Plans for eventually getting Vita games onto mobile phones and tablets. Also not likely.
6) Spoilers on the next Xbox cause I know Sony's got super secret Ninjas spying on them, along with spec comparisons showing how the PS4 is superior. Well... maybe?

I'm thinking we will see trailers for final fantasy, metal gear whatevritscalled, and a new rock star game (agency, red dead 3, something new). I'd love to see fallout 4 but that will probably be shown at Xbox unveiling
Anyone want to see more PS2 style ads like Double Life when the time comes? Obviously gameplay ones as well.

What's awesome is that Kaz's Hirai's career and the fate of the entire SONY corporation is dependent on the ps4 succeeding. So you know Sony is going all out with this one.

If it would consist of GT4 and GT5 assets and have full-scope GT5 online I would pay 100$ for this. Make it 150$ if Tourist Trophy would be included.

I'd like it if they just fixed the texture warping in GT1/GT2 and render them out at a 4K resolution without changing the models or textures. That'd look so cool.
