I don't know why I have to ask, but what is the monthly fee for Final Fantasy XIV on PS4, and why the heck isn't that clearly advertised on the PSN page? (Viewing on PS4)
It doesn't even say so under Read More, just ... Add to Cart $39.99
Given how Child of Light is making its way to Vita does anyone think I should hold off on Ubisoft's next ubiart game, Valiant Hearts, in hopes of another Vita release down the line?

I'm going to buy a 64gb card next week. 8GB is barely enough for anything.
Which atieller game should i get? I bought P4G for $10 but like P3P I don't really want to play it because the dungeon was a boring fucking grind. It would be interested in DLC that trivialized the entire thing and focused just on the social aspects. Maybe I should have gotten conception :|

What? The dungeons in Conception II are much worse than the ones in P4G (Which are actually fine imo, but then I haven't really minded Tartarus on any of my P3 playthroughs). Not to mention the social aspects aren't as good since the characters are terrible in comparison.
There is quite literally no area in which Conception II is better than P4G in.

I can deal with meh social links if it means i can just autobattle through shitty combat, rather than have good social links with awful boring grindy combat.
I don't know if p4g has good combat because every time i start up the game im reminded of P3P and i immediately shut it off in frustration. Haven't been able to get past the family dinner scene.
I've been trying to survive but it is getting kinda hard managing between healing myself, buying food or getting money. I'm playing on hard on Adventuresome mode, and nothing ever drops, I'm kinda almost getting starved already.

The combat system in Persona games is great, I love it. And I've only very rarely come across instances that require grinding in Persona 3 or 4. Usually fusion can solve any difficulties. Especially in Golden which is ridiculously easy compared to OG P4.
Sounds like it's just not for you, but I doubt you'd like Conception II any more.

That was something I didn't understand at all in p3p, fusions. I just kind of put whatever together that looked good but they were all fucking garbage. I guess I need a guide to tell me what to do.

I hated how whenever you max an S. Link it tells you can "now fuse x the ultimate form of the x arcana" but then it doesn't tell you which Persona are needed to fuse them >_>

You don't need a guide to learn fusion rules but it may help you to get the basics down. Essentially you just want to be fusing stuff that have skills that you need for whatever given situation. There's a room for experimentation with passing down skills etc. I think the most important thing about Persona's battle system is to use buffs and debuffs, because those are actually really useful in SMT games.
I didn't mind the Conception II demo but it's bland as hell, and really doesn't have much to offer that the demo didn't show. Combat is super boring.

Well, what exactly are you stuck with? If you put the game on Easy Mode, then the combat really should be a cake walk
(plus if you beat the game on any difficulty, you can playthrough it again on a custom difficulty, where you can boost your XP and Money gain )
.
But if you are playing on a high difficulty, some tips that would be helpful include these:
- Always get the best gear for your team and ALWAYS trade in your items at the weapons shop; you can get very powerful items and if you sell your gems (the circle items under the meterals section) you can easily get lots of money
- Re-visit each dungeon at least once; you can level grind very easily (if your team has the best gear, just press Triangle to enable auto-battle; foes die VERY quickly a good deal of the time ), gather more items from chests (which have SP restoration functions; cannot get these from stores so very important), and even boost your Courage stat when beating the 'extra' bosses
- For Shuffle Time, always try to pick the items you really need (Skill Cards = TM's for your Personas, HP/SP Cards = very useful, Leaf Cards = VERY important, Money Cards = useful for getting items, Personas = only get the ones you never owned before aka the 'New' ones). If you want to get everything, keep in mind the de-buffs they have (for example, some cards will make you get half XP/Money or even no EX/Money but get you more cards to get) and give-or-take what your party really needs
- Use a walkthrough (a really useful one here) to help you with the 'Before the Dungeon' segments, getting the most points for Social Links/Social Stats (honestly, its much better to tackle a 'Full SL' playthrough after you beat he game; you will have much of the Social Stats maxed out by that point), and when you can tackle the S. Links (time management is key here.....very easy to miss some of them if not careful X()

For anyone wondering, the Starter Pack for free that Rainbow Moon offers on the PSN helps a lot. It gives 100 Rainbow Coins and 10 points to upgrade your stats. The points to upgrade the stats aren't much, but the RC help a lot when you start on Adventuresome mode. No longer I need to run around in circles and wait the next day to use the Camp.
Still, the game feels like a mobile game with heavy microtransactions, I can't even fathom the endgame.
The game graphics makes me sad by association because it remembers me of Torchlight, and a Torchlight Vita version would make my day. I need a loot extravaganza / dungeon crawler for my Vita, urgently, something that I can grind but with great mechanics.
I wish 1.5 was on the digital store. Physical games are expensive here (importing isn't an option right now), and from what I've seen I can usually find better prices on PSN.
I'm just chiming in to say that I'm in love with Muramasa. I saw all the 6 endings (3 for each character) and loved every second with it, even with the somewhat excessive backtracking.
I'm going through the Nekomata DLC now and, damn, I still can't get enough of it. Although I feel I'm doing something wrong when fighting the first real boss
when I get to those two creatures that stretch their necks. I mean, they pound the ground and blaze the air! How the hell am I supposed to stay alive?
Haha, everyone gets beaten by this mofo, on this very part! I first fought him at level 10 and eventually gave up, got to level 15, upped my stats and went back.
I'd like to know how corrosivefrost got through this boss on Fury (congrats, btw!)
