I haven't made up my mind, I'm just trying to convince myself it's the right choice, while I don't want to regret it after. :D

But I won't sell it. I'm thinking of giving it away to a friend of mine in the Philippines who don't have anything in the first place.

Pfft, you can cut off my pinky fingers, you still won't get me to give up my Vita.

If you aren't going to play/use/cherish something I think selling it or giving it away to someone who will is a logical decision. You said that you were looking for exclusive AAA games and I don't expect there to be enough in the future to justify the Vita for you. There are a slew of releases in future, but probably not the games you're looking for.

All that being said if you're the type of person who tends to look back on previous generations of consoles and pick up releases after the fact, maybe it's worthwhile to just hold on to it and save yourself the trouble?

OR do what any irrational emotionally invested Vita owner would do and buy more games for it and try something new.

1001 Spikes is awesome. I was a little apprehensive at the price, but there's three arcade modes along with the story mode and each is like its own separate game, haha. So yeah, no shortage of content, and the game really is tough as nails. I really wish it mimicked 16-bit or 32-bit pixel art instead of whatever low-fi look it has now, but that's about my only complaint.

I'm playing on PC and am stuck on level 2-5. :(

Edit: Scratch that, I'm up to 3-1 now.

If I unsubscribe from PS+ and leave the console for some time, will I have any hassle after I resub in regard to my PS+ games installed?

So let me get this straight. A)They are developing a game but B)they forgot to start on the Vita version? Are they fucking crazy? Who does something like that?

I can't even be sad if an interesting game is probably not coming to the platform we mainly talk about in this thread? Heck, I'm not even portbegging, I'm just assuming that it won't come to Vita based on developer's track record and being sad for that.

Also, you know, it's not that strange to expect an indie platformer to release on Vita

Misunderstanding alert. That was actually no sarcasm. I think Vita has more than proven itself as a platform to sell software on. I find it completely mind boggling to see a game skipping the Vita at this point.

Hmm, I need some input. I'm thinking of selling my PlayStation Vita.

I have had it since launch but I'm not really playing anything on it other than Persona 4: Golden. And I'm thinking maybe I can just play the original Persona 4 on my PS2, now that P4:G is the only game I play on the Vita anyway.

And the indies I always get on my PC to play on either the monitor or tv, and I never bring out my Vita. It's only used at home.

So I'm thinking of getting rid of it, especially as it seems there's no exclusive AAA games coming for it.

well it's not like games of all types haven't come out for it... if you don't enjoy anything else then there's no reason to keep it at this point.

looking forward to Flyhunter for vita

this is the studio made by former Pixar employees. Pretty sure it's their first game, so hears to hoping.

Whoops! Sorry! That really sounded sarcastic :/ btw I agree, especially for indie games. Unluckily for me, some of the most interesting indie platformers aren't coming on Vita. Super Meat Boy, The Last Tinker, Oliver & Spike and now this DKC Returns-esque game.

Flyhunter is something, but from the footage I've seen it didn't seem to be too hot...

Nope.
Almost all of the games they pick up require heavy Japanese knowledge to play as well.

Still miffed about Tomba 2 I mean what the fuck.

What the... here in europe we have the american version. Why did they release the NA version in EU and the JP version in NA? It just doesn't make any sense :|

What's up with the E3 2014 app for PS4? The blog says that it's been released but I can't find it. Is it not available in Canada?

scea don't care

What is the E3 app for anyways? Can't you just watch it somewhere else online?

Yes, but that would've likely been the best quality stream with the easiest connection and least issues - so instead I'll end up watching some shit stream that cuts out, lags, glitches and is in 360p or something horrible like that.

Thanks Sony, love you too >.>

Well, the PS2 version of Persona 4 is missing all the extras the PS Vita version has, the Vita gets PS+ games every month (basically, you would just have at least 16-22 Vita games just lay there if you have PS+) and the Vita exclusives are generally solid (Ys Vita, Tearaway, Gravity Rush, ect).

If you really want the 'AAA' exclusive like Killzone Mercenary and Uncharted Golden Abyss....you got the wrong system man :(. Sony did make that 'promise' when the system launched but as of last year, the system lost that goal; it is now home to solid ports of Indie games, HD Remasters, the odd Sony exclusive here or their and the Japanese exclusive every few months.

That isn't bad at all (in fact I play my Vita much more than my PS3), but if that doesn't fit you, then sell your system; can be put towards some of the killer stuff announced this E3 :D. Just, decide if you are selling it or not after E3 is over; there may be a Vita announcement you really want.....I hope at least :l.

The app have four areas: one for watching the conference, one to host trailers and screenshots (you can preorder things here too), one about PSNow (you can try to apply for the beta here) and the fourth one is for services, I think (PS+ and such). Toro teach you these things.

So, while you can do any of those elsewhere, the app allows you to do all at the same place on your PS4.

Can't you just beat P4G and then sell your Vita?

C'mon, be serious - if he played through P4G on Vita he'd never sell it.

I did just that today. Sold both my Vita and PS4 at GameStop and converted the $600+ in credit into amazon cards. I just wasn't using either of them and was able to get back what I had in them. Guess this is my goodbye post. Was fun and all that!

What a boring life this gentleman must live - no video game playing and all that. :(

It's a replacement for the E3 setup they used to put up in PS Home.
Complete tasks get rewarded. The rewards are Sony reward points.
You can make a US account to use but it won't work with a Canadian account.

SCEA has never bundled a Japanese game with Vita. They're also allergic to bundling Sony properties with the platform too. That's a double whammy against a Freedom Wars bundle.

If he is from Europe he'll get one. SCEE does a lot of bundles.

I have a feeling that Type-0 is all I'm going to play for the next 24 hours straight.

Picked up R4 and Klonoa for my Vita. I haven't played these since high school. It's takin me back, guys. *sheds tear*

I've been replaying all the games (up to V now) for my own retrospective of the series. For my money I think the handling in Ridge Racer peaked with R4.

Type-0 released on PSN?

If only.
