Fuck, why didnt UBI do a Vita Watch Dogs port, that would have sold some Vitas.

It wouldn't be a port since the game isn't out yet :P

Can't see it selling Vitas when you can get a better version everywhere else. I'd need some pretty darn good PS3/4 connectivity and a Watch Dog bundle.

Hey, never played a Vanillaware game, but as there has been some discussions about them here, the French website Gamekult had this news piece today.
Google translate seems to have done a good job, I will fix the more glaring errors.

After four years of work on Dragon's Crown and two more DLC to deliver for Muramasa Rebirth, the small team of Vanillaware has other chestnuts on the fire, as stated by its founder George Kamitani in the latest issue of Games magazine.
"We're only 24, I would now like to expand the studio. We have projects underway but I can not talk about them," said the versatile boss, cautious, before confiding he himself is working on "a more personal project, smaller. "About the game or games in gestation within his society, he ensures that he will no longer work according to the tastes he attributed to Westerners like he did with Dragon's Crown, and gives an idea of the development time required prior to releasing something: "We have to work for two years, still a little patience!"

Man, the Vita is the most comfortable handheld I've ever used, as long as the back touch panel thing isn't being used. It's so unconfortable to hold this giant thing with the tips of my fingers. I've only played Spelunky and PSOne games so far, are there a lot of games that make you use it?

I have a 64 GB card totally filled with games and I think I've used the rear touchpad in two games. Some PSone classics use it to simulate R2 R3 L2 L3 but you can remap all those controls by holding down the PS button during the game to get to the menu.

still dreaming about Folklore Vita...

we need a Kingdom Hearts game on the Vita :(
if they port the 3DS game over, I'll be happy enough

Just came back from that weeeeeeeird Persona stream. And now a Vita game is becoming an anime. Vita means life?
Atlus milking the cash cow.
Maybe dynamic resolution
Probably. Still not getting the game though.

A Vanillaware game is always welcome in my Vita.

Yeah there are quite a lot of games that use it, but most games also let's you set the controls on the touchscreen.

10 years ago, my mom asked me why I was playing "girly games".

The game I was playing???
Xenosaga Episode 1. (It was at the start of the game, KOS-MOS simulator thing).

So that reminds me...I've been playing child if light lately and my wife loves it. So we go out with friends, and literally the first thing she says is, "tell them about the little princess game you've been playing, it's so cute!"

Damn, 24 people. They had 21 in 2009, and 24 when Dragon's Crown launched iirc.

Hopefully they get to increase their number and give us some more glorious stuff, but Kamitani once said that Vanillaware is almost 100% made of artists, and despite having a good bunch of great artists in the market, they need to be trained on 2D animation for games. Two years seem enough, tho.

Is there a way to make the gravity controls in gravity rush either tilt or right stick? Having both is driving me nuts.

Still, fun game.

I don't think so. It's kinda annoying at first but as soon as you get the hang of it, it works perfectly. Just use the analog to move the camera towards the general direction of where you want to go and tilt only to adjust the aim.

Looks great, will import if necessary.
Yeah, I might import it too but I'm slightly optimistic since it's Marvelous.

Hey guys, I'm not one to believe every rumor or image that appear on the internet, especially when it's from 4chan, but the following images was uploaded there in a thread just now with the OP reading: "Project Beast (Working Title). PS4. From Swoftware. By Miyazaki."

(Not familiar with posting images so here's an imgur album)

Do you think it could be real? Or am I getting horribly rused? I tried a simple reverse image search on Google for a couple of the images and came up with nothing. Guess it could be some other game and the text is just plastered on there to fool gullible people like me. Perhaps I just want it to be real too badly ;_;.

Pressing up or down ( i forget) while in air recenters the camera. Made the game a lot more manageable and fun after i discovered that. Maybe itll help

Not a lot of games use it, But enough. Try getting grips or the vita 2k for a more comfortable hold.

I'm up to the second set of tournaments in Everybody's Golf and it's still not much more interesting than the golf minigame in GTA V. Not sure whether I should push on.

Haha sounds like you dont like golf games...It doesnt really change much... The courses and competition get harder, so the fun comes in you making an effort to get better. So if youre not liking it now, you probabaly really wont like it later.

New thread! And moving fast already!

Vita requires all games to be available digitally, so I won't have any hopes of a KH game on Vita until we know that Disney physical-only licensing thing is gone.

The absence of this and Crisis Core on PSN really hurts as a Vita owner.

I just tucked into Rayman Origins for the first time. Holy shit. It just took me about 45 minutes to 100% The first proper level! This game is gonna last me a while.

Those pesky relics though. I mean, talk about well hidden!

man.. glad to finally know the reason behind it :/
- if only we can just send a fan petition to Disney :/

I feel like we might be getting even more BL2 Vita impressions soon. Should I post the OT tonight?

Going to ask again since only one person replied. ZeroAKA pls halp
Momohime or Kisuke/what difficulty?
Kisuke on Chaos first. Legend is boring.

Edit: You can change difficulty at any time iirc.

Just picked up Persona 4 Golden, Muramusa, Crono Trigger and Crono Cross :).

Gotta say, really like how Crono Trigger plays on Vita; the games looks great, the music is awesome, and the loading times aren't nearly as bad as Gaf made them out to be (though I only started the game...but I've played games with MUCH worse loading times *Sonic 06*).

Didn't play Muramusa and Persona 4 yet but its great to finally have two games I felt was missing in my Vita library :). I don't even mind that Muramusa might land on NA+ latter on; the game is well worth the 7 bucks I payed for it :).

Well now I don't know who to believe
You get weapons with better abilities earlier in the game as Kisuke, which makes Kisuke a good introductory character. I also really liked Kisuke's story but don't remember anything about Momohime's. You can switch between characters and difficulty every time you start up the game, by the way.

Well, as ZeroAKA said, you can change the difficulty at any time, so you can start on legend to get the hang of it and then change to Chaos. Legend is a bit of a button-mash fest, while Chaos requires some thinking.

As for the character, flip a coin. The biggest change is the story. Kisuke's story's cooler, imo.

I'll do what you suggested then

Go for the harder difficulty. Doesn't really matter who you play first. I did Momohime first and thought her story was much better. It may be a little complicated at first though, Kisuke's story is much more straight forward.
She is also a better character than Kisuke.

Save the best for last then :P

Awww

Sounds like a new project

So much for Grand Knights History :(

I'm seeing a $5 Flash Sale banner on the psn web store, but the link is broken.
Mortal Kombat and Red Dead Redemption are in the banner.

I think they are in the middle of putting the sale up?

Seems like it. Damn. I swear I'm almost getting pissed with all those sales and their work on my wallet. Almost.
